All around Jaku were tall walls made out of some kind of magic barrier that looked made out of stone.
This was the maze region of the Pocket Dimension, where keys were hidden all around it.
Now, the maze had an open top, but that didn't mean that people could peek above it. It was made out of the same barrier that separated the Key and the Lock section of the Pocket Dimension.
"Why did I have to pick the short straw?" Jaku lamented.
When the game started, they just randomly assigned regions to each player through a simple straw. Unfortunately, Jaku picked the most boring one out of all of them.
Because of the winding maze, it was very possible that players wouldn't even be able to see each other, let alone fight each other. This led players to just go through the maze and hope that they would stumble upon a key.
This would have been perfect for Umisu, but a nightmare for Jaku.
"Haaa…I'm tired. I want to sleep."
