Everyone looked excited upon Barnaby's announcement. Things had gotten heated up, and there were a lot of fights still left unresolved during the game.
For example, the fight between Potbol and Alaric was still undecided, which meant that the title for the strongest Maugnetic in all of Metropolis was still yet to be crowned.
Aside from that, there were also some unresolved questions still yet to be answered.
Michael's unexplained survival was one of them.
Not only was Michael able to survive to the next game despite almost half of the players being eliminated, but he was also able to take on Braxton's attack head on and somehow still remained unscathed.
There were a lot of theories as to how that happened. Some thought that Braxton got uncharacteristically sloppy and accidentally missed his aim, and some thought that there were some hidden helpers that transported Michael away into safety.
But in this game, all questions would finally be answered.
