One Eye and Professor Lichtenstein thought greatly of Mauricio. He was clearly a talented young man, one that could prove to be worthy enough for the Werewolves.
But Michael had already scanned the people in the swordsmen competition. None of them stood out to him. He was pretty sure that Jaku, as long as his laziness didn't get the better of him, would be able to claim victory over every other swordsman.
The guy may be lazy, but he'll show up when he needs to, Michael thought.
He didn't have to worry about it.
"Let's talk about your object of desires, professor," said One Eye.
"Ah yes, yes!" the professor beamed.
"As we agreed upon, I will help you with your problems."
Even though One Eye didn't get the answer he expected from the map, he was still honorable enough to go through with his deal with the professor.
"Is the Antique real?" the professor asked seriously.
Thankfully, One Eye confirmed it with a nod. "I saw it with my own eyes, professor. It's real."
