The 1st ranked General couldn't understand how this was possible. All of his moves, all of his strikes, all of his defenses… they were all being read by this weird skeleton creature!
It wouldn't have been weird if he wasn't using his true strength. However, all of his slashes were powered by his Nascent Armor! His Nascent Influence was billowing out like a fire that emanated from his body.
However, none of it was hitting this weird skeleton. It was unaffected by anything.
"How is this possible… your body should be burning!" the old man screamed.
"Yohohohoho! I don't have a body to burn!" Grieve answered back. And with a swift movement, he slashed his sword in unseeable ways, leaving only a slight glow in the air.
The 1st ranked general's Nascent Armor began to emit sparks. Not from his own volition, but from the fact that his armor was being chipped slowly by Grieve's sword attacks!
