Chapter 141 - THE RETURN

Every enemy was caught in the purity of Arella's power. They screamed, staggered, before dissolving into particles of gold and ash.

Only her allies remained.

And then, the light dimmed, and Arella lowered her arms. She swayed slightly, as the aftershock of her holy power passed through her body. Castiel caught her instantly, wrapping an arm around her waist to steady her.

"You did not have to push yourself like that." He murmured, concern dripping from his tone.

"I did. We do not have much time." Her voice was quiet, a mere whisper. "I have... seen things, experienced things Cassie. Right now, my gut is telling me that this is just the beginning of something more." 

Castiel's figure froze, and his frown deepened. His nod was grim and he did not need to ask what she meant by her words. There was something different about his sister. It was not something that he was able to place a finger on, but it was clear as day on one like him who had seen her grow up.
