All five City Governors patiently awaited the results. They could tell that the Lords were negotiating with the Tier-8 Corrupted Beasts.
Once the deal was reached, there would be no danger for the city. Besides, they could also see the Tier-9 Lifeline beasts.
The two massive beasts gave them assurance. If the Tier-9 Beasts started fighting, they would decimate the whole area.

The two old men looked at each other. The slightly obese old man was not satisfied. He wanted more.
"Brother, it's not enough," he muttered.
The tall old man frowned. He contemplated whether the compensation was adequate or not. The tall old man thought that he could bargain for more.
A few minutes later, he said, "A few months is not enough. We want a six-month peace period. During this time, no corrupted beasts from your three tribes will attack our Beast Tamers or the City."
