Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Fairy Queen Erza vs. Smoker the White Hunter

Loguetown's Colonel Smoker — the legendary Marine who once drove the future Pirate King Luffy into a desperate corner. That's how the history books would describe him.

And now—

"Sullivan, captain of the Fairy Tail Pirates! This is the end of the line for you. I will never allow you to reach the Grand Line!"

Sullivan, being a transmigrator, was naturally familiar with Loguetown's Marine Colonel Smoker.

A Logia-type Moku Moku no Mi user.

Serious and unconventional in character, he stood firmly by his own sense of justice.

He was one of the rare, uncorrupted figures in the Marine ranks.

When it came to pirates, he was unyielding.

Because Smoker was stationed here, few pirates from the East Blue had managed to cross Reverse Mountain into the Grand Line over the years.

Sullivan actually admired Smoker to some extent.

If possible, he didn't want to fight him.

But—

Since the other side had come knocking, Sullivan wasn't going to back down either.

In fact, it was the perfect opportunity to let Erza and Mirajane experience what it was like to face a Logia user in this world.

For magic users who didn't wield Haki, Logia users with elemental bodies were among the most difficult to deal with.

Smoker's voice rang out like a hammer on steel as he pointed his seastone-tipped jitte at Sullivan.

"First of all, let me correct you—it's the Fairy Tail Guild."

Sullivan responded calmly.

"Hmph. Guild or not, flattening an entire Marine base—at the end of the day, you're just a bunch of lawless thugs!"

Smoker retorted coldly.

"Correction again—not flattened, I believe Branch 16 is now just one big crater."

Sullivan smiled faintly.

"Bastard…"

Smoker's expression darkened sharply.

To him, Sullivan's calm remarks were pure provocation.

"Hey, Marine! If your own comrades hadn't colluded with pirates and oppressed civilians, do you think the guild master would have taken action?"

Erza snapped angrily.

Smoker's eyes flickered.

He knew about the collusion between Branch 16 and Arlong's crew.

It had been reported in the World Economic Times two days ago.

Although quickly buried by the World Government, Smoker had seen it.

Now, faced with Erza's accusations—

He had no words.

After a long silence:

"Even so, that does not give you the right to act on your own. Corrupt Marines should be judged by a military tribunal!"

Smoker repeated the same stance as Fleet Admiral Sengoku.

"In that case, there's no more need to talk. Erza, have fun."

Sullivan said lightly.

"Yes!"

Erza handed her cart over to Nami, then stepped forward calmly.

"Requip—Heaven's Wheel Armor!!!"

With Erza's words, a dazzling magic circle appeared at her feet.

Magic—The Knight, activate!

Brilliant light illuminated the area.

When the light faded—

Erza had transformed.

Her plain silver armor had been replaced by a resplendent suit of sword-clad armor.

In that moment—

She looked like an angel from legend.

Only, the wings that kept her aloft were swords.

Dozens more floating blades hovered behind her.

"Whoa… So cool! Erza is amazing!!!"

Nami blushed in excitement, unable to hold back her cheers.

"It's still too early to be surprised. That's just the tip of Erza's power."

Mirajane smiled.

As Erza's rival, she knew better than anyone how strong Erza truly was.

"Fairy Queen Erza… I've heard of you. So this is your ability, huh? Not bad at all."

Smoker forced himself to remain calm.

On the surface.

But inside, waves of shock surged.

Because Erza's power exceeded anything he had ever encountered.

His instincts told him—this wasn't a Devil Fruit ability.

It was something even more extraordinary. Something beyond comprehension.

"Colonel Smoker!"

Sergeant Tashigi and the rest of the Loguetown Marines finally arrived.

Seeing the scene before them, the Marines quickly aimed their rifles.

But before they could even steady themselves—

A cold glint of steel danced.

Heaven's Wheel—Blumenblatt!!!

In a flash—

Every Marine's weapon was sliced clean in half.

If Erza had intended to kill—

The street would already be littered with corpses, blood flowing like a river.

Realizing this possibility—

Even Smoker felt a chill run down his spine.

As for Sergeant Tashigi, she was already frozen in fear.

"Colonel Smoker… What is this…?"

"Stay back, Tashigi! Everyone, fall back! This enemy is beyond your ability to handle!"

Smoker barked.

"That's the wise choice,"

Erza said calmly.

Smoker grunted coldly.

"Then let me see for myself what the Fairy Queen is capable of!"

As his words fell—

Thick smoke erupted.

Smoker's figure surged into the sky, propelled by white mist.

His seastone-tipped jitte shot forward like a missile.

Heaven's Wheel—Trinity Sword!!!

With a flash—

Erza's figure vanished.

She swung her swords at an unimaginable speed—

Clashing with Smoker in a blinding instant.

The world seemed to pause for a moment.

And then—

Three triangular flashes of light lit up across Smoker's body.
