Well, they are wrong. What came in the morning… was yet another storm. A quiet, mostly brewing under the surface, and only breaking through in scoffs and dirty looks, but the tension in the air was palpable, from the very moment Damien opened the bedroom door again.
Clara was already up. She probably didn't sleep much, if at all, but as a high-ranking Esper, she could easily handle that much. As to why she didn't sleep? No real reason, other than her stubbornness and desire to spy on Lane. Because her sleep couldn't have been disturbed by anything - Lane and Damien behaved, and they went properly to sleep. Cuddling in one bed, but nothing else.
