"That's what we needed!" Coach Reynolds screamed as soon as he entered the locker rooms after the match. He was the giddiest we had ever seen him as he went to Edward and gave him a good slap on his back in excitement.
We had won the match. Not just by chance but a whopping difference of forty-two points. It was absolutely brilliant! I didn't think we had ever played so well as a team before until then. Even Phillip did a great job at protecting Edward and tackling down anyone who came close to him.
I guessed after Edward scored the first ten points everyone saw that we had something different about us. All you needed to do was get the ball in his hands and he would take care of everything else. He was agile and flexible.
Ducking, diving and dodging members with ease as they all tried to pin him down. It seemed there wasn't a game plan strategy from the other team since none of them were sure how Edward would play in the team which was a huge benefactor to us.
