I sat outside on the field enjoying the warmth of the sun. Uncle Sasha's and Uncle Damien's farm in Italy was everything and more. Evidently the vineyard wasn't meant for heavy labour but I knew uncle Damien had never really retired. He just told himself that.
My mind was all over the place. Seeing Ethan outside the environment of London was a lot. A lot heavier than I expected it to be and I felt torn. Demyan and Ethan could be magic together but the moment they weren't… It was an ugly fall out as well.
"I hope you put on sunscreen," a bottle of it landed on my lap before Ethan threw himself down next to me. He was dressed in shorts and a hoodie with flip flops on. His hair outgrown and he had a short beard. He always made everything work for him.
I let out a sigh but opened the bottle anyway and smeared it onto my skin. "You'd think time away from my parents would mean I wouldn't be getting parented."
