I nervously bounced my leg as I drove to the club's office. It hadn't even been six hours since Edward and I were back from my cabin when I got a call from my new manager Louis asking me to meet him for a matter of high urgency.
My brain hadn't even understood what that meant. 'High urgency'? When they were my new managers? Was there a new contract deal of high urgency they wanted me to sign? Maybe a brand deal worth millions or that Land Rover deal I had been eyeing for months.
Ted always got the best sponsorships without even having to do anything. Therefore I knew I was in the right hands. Edward had buggered off to his parents house for the afternoon and would be back around dinner. We had dinner plans with his family in a few days so I was confident they were off to gossip about me.
