A little farther away from him, there was a globe of red light glowing intensely, swirling and darting around in random directions like a mindless bird inside his inner world.
This red globe of light was the will of the blood of the Night King, blood that Damian had synthesized and separated from the Night King's own essence when he devoured it, before transitioning into the Vampire Progenitor.
"I have to do something about it," Damian muttered, but then chose to ignore it and moved toward the six differently colored trees he could see not far from there.
Walking through the red sea, he approached the six banyan-like trees, their vines and aerial roots flowing down from their branches.
Each of them looked completely different from the others.
The largest tree had bright greenish-red roots and branches, with long, massive golden leaves glowing with an ethereal brilliance.
