The black orb just eerily floated there. It didn't emit any energy. So, Jade who thought that it might be an unreasonably big beast core immediately dismissed that thought. After all, beast cores always emitted elemental energy.
And there was the feeling of danger she was getting from it. Because of this, she didn't dare get any closer to it. She just looked on from a distance.
She had also dismissed her domain. It really took a lot out of her to use her domain's main ability "Beast World". So, she was mostly spent and couldn't sustain the domain...
Crack!
Suddenly a cracking sound came from the orb. Then...
BOOOM!
Thick black mist exploded out. It didn't spread into the surroundings but gathered together instead. It then formed two huge eyes in the sky which stared at Jade for a few seconds.
A chill went down Jade's spine when the eyes looked at her. The urge to attack had long vanished. Which meant that her Beast Aura had returned to its normal state.
