No one says a word. Everyone just stares silently at the floating screens, watching Alex stand alone among the defeated Mages.
"I-INCREDIBLE! THE ONLY ONE STANDING IS ALEXANDER STERLING!"
The commentator finally breaks the silence, making the cheers erupt in the stadium. They never thought that 1 man can defeat the best Mages of some of the best Guilds in Fiore.
But they didn't understand that even though he only baited Acnologia to move away from Ishgar, it still took a lot of skills and power.
Even more, he actually fought Acnologia and even injured the Black Dragon and that was 7 years ago when Alex was weaker than he is now. He could clap all of them even 7 years ago, not to mention now that he has gotten stronger.
Alex just stands there without dispelling his transformation even after the organizer announces him as a winner.
Then suddenly, he disappears, confusing everyone watching it. Until they all hear a loud crashing sound, followed by some buildings falling down in a row.
The flying magic cameras quickly move to check what has just crashed onto the buildings and what happens is finally revealed. Someone was lying at the end of the destroyed path and his face looks familiar.
"W-what? Isn't that Rogue Cheney from Sabertooth? Eh? But he is still lying among the defeated Mages. Wait! This unknown person's hair looks different. Half of his long hair is white and he seems older. What happens?!"
Everyone finally realizes that this unknown person really looks like Rogue, but older and his hair is half white half black.
They don't know who this is, but Alex knows. He is the Future Rogue who comes from another different future timeline to open the Eclipse Gate to summon Dragons from the past.
Alex who was standing on top of a building where Future Rogue stood suddenly runs really fast toward Future Rogue, making him quickly stand up to get away.
Future Rogue transforms into a shadow very quickly, so he can avoid Alex's punch that destroys the ground where he laid.
Now everyone is convinced that this is really Rogue because only him can transform into a shadow like this.
Future Rogue tries to run away, but Alex can find him even when he transforms into a shadow. So Alex flashes to chase him and creates a fire wall to block his path.
The fire wall hits Future Rogue who moves fast as a shadow, forcing him to come out of the shadow. Right when he comes out, Alex who has arrived behind him sends a punch on his back, crashing him onto the ground.
But this Future Rogue is surprisingly tough and skillful. Right after he crashes onto the ground, he rolls to the side to avoid another punch sent by Alex despite the pain he feels.
Then he even shoots a very fast white light projectile at Alex who can block it with a tail. But he can feel this attack is much stronger than what Sting used in the previous battle despite being a rushed and basic attack.
Future Rogue flips backwards, jumps with his hands, and lands on his feet. He immediately activates his Dragon force, but his marks aren't just black, they are half black half white, the combination of Sting's and Rogue's Dragon Force marks.
After activating his Dragon Force, he immediately engages in a fistfight with Alex. His body releases black-white aura and his limbs are covered with black-white magic.
He is much faster and stronger than both the current Sting and Rogue combined. But he is not even at Jura's level yet, so Alex can handle his attacks without any problem.
Alex stops all of his attacks and lands punches onto Future Rogue's body. His punches are strong enough to knock out the current Rogue, but the Future Rogue can tank them well.
While his attack power is not very high, his toughness is even higher than Jura. Obviously because he has gone through numerous battles and endured a lot of damage which made him very tough.
"Not bad. How about this then?" Alex grins while grabbing Future Rogue's limbs with his tails before spreading them, making Future Rogue's body open to attacks.
Then, Alex sends a stronger punch at Future Rogue's stomach. This punch is really strong because Alex puts all of his strength into it.
As a result, Future Rogue coughs up a lot of air and some blood. But Alex isn't done yet. He grabs Future Rogue's face and slams him onto the floor very strongly, creating a wide crater that knocks down the surrounding buildings.
With such attacks, Alex easily subdues and knocks out Future Rogue. He even puts Shukaku's seals onto Future Rogue's body to seal his movements and abilities.
In this Jinchuriki Mode, Alex has access to all of the Tailed Beasts' abilities, not just Kurama even though his form is similar to Naruto's Jinchuriki Mode.
It's a very convenient form because then he can use all of the 9 Tailed Beasts' abilities. But it also comes with a price. It consumes a lot more magic power to maintain this form.
But with his current amount of magic power, he can maintain this form for quite a long time and he won't run out of it soon.
Another disadvantage is the Tailed Beasts' abilities are not as strong as when he transforms into them. But he can compensate for most of them with pure raw power.
Only after making sure that Future Rogue is completely sealed does Alex dispel his transformation.
The audience is now confused. They are also curious about this person's true identity and why he sneaked into the event location despite not being a participant.
"Alexander Sterling has subdued the mysterious infiltrator. Just who is this person who looks like Rogue Cheney and even has the power of both the Twin Dragons? He could even endure the attacks of Alexander Sterling who could take down even Jura the Wizard Saint with a single punch."
The commentator voices out the audience's confusion. But because of that, everyone agrees that this mysterious person is an infiltrator because he was in the last event's arena, watching the battle from a close distance even though only the players are allowed there.
That's why the Kingdom side is in panic because the person who "helps" them preparing for the future threat is beaten up by a Mage who felt threatened by his presence.
Furthermore, people believe that Future Rogue is in the wrong. If they support Future Rogue here, people will frown upon them. Future Rogue's face and abilities really make explaining this much more difficult.
To handle this, they quickly dispatch the Knights to "capture" and "detain" the infiltrator. They just want to save him from Alex and Fairy Tail Mage who knows Future Rogue's identity immediately realize the Kingdom's plan.
To their surprise, Alex actually lets the Knights take away Future Rogue. They thought he would prevent it or even killed him, but he actually handed him over to the Knights without protesting.
Though thanks to that, the event can resume normally. Everyone quickly put aside this matter to the back of their heads and continue their happy cheers to celebrate the end of this Grand Magic Games.
The champion is without a doubt Fairy Tail A that got all the points in the last game, making their score even higher than it already was.
Ironically, none of the other teams got a single point in this last event. So Fairy Tail B that doesn't even participate still can get the 2nd place just like before the last event started.
The ranks don't change as only Fairy Tail A's scores increased in the last event. They hog all 54 points that could be achieved in the last game.
Fairy Tail A : 128 Points
Fairy Tail B : 58 Points
Mermaid Heel : 49 Points
Sabertooth : 45 Points
Lamia Scale : 25 Points
Blue Pegasus : 21 Point
Heaven's Runners : 18 Points

With 2 teams taking the 1st and 2nd positions, Fairy Tail has tightened their title as the strongest Guild in Fiore.
Moreover, Alex also proves himself to be worthy of his Hero of Ishgar title. People even think that he might be the strongest Mage in Fiore now and possibly in Ishgar.
