Right after the Demons transform into their Etherious forms, Alex suddenly loses his 5 senses. He can't see, he can't smell, he can't hear, he can't feel anything on his skin, and while he can't check it, he's pretty sure he can't taste anything now.
But he doesn't panic because he immediately knows that this is Kyoka's ability. This is one of the Demons' Curses that made him the most wary. Losing all his 5 senses will make things very difficult, after all.
"So this is how it feels to be unable to sense anything. How weird, I can't even hear my own voice." Alex says it, but he can't even hear what he says, which feels very weird.
He tries clapping his hands, but he can't feel the touching or hear the sound. However, he can feel the shake and impact on his hands. So only the touching sense of his skin is gone, not the sensation in his body.
Kyoka's Pain Amplification is also still active and he actually feels pain from clapping his hands. It's so strange how he can't feel what his skin touches but still can feel the sensation that his muscles or bones feel.
It's like the doctor only numbs his skin, not his whole body. If this is an operation, the patient will die from pain because they still feel hurt when their body is sliced. This is such a bad anaesthesia.
Just when Alex tries to get used to his loss of 5 senses, he suddenly feels pain in his chest, most likely from an attack, but he doesn't know what kind of attack it is.
Then he feels like he is flying before his back also feels pain, most likely from crashing onto the wall after being hit by that attack on the chest.
But when crashing onto the wall, his body disperses like a crumbling sand figure. He is still activating his Shukaku sand body which greatly reduces the damage he takes.
Shukaku's sand body seems to be the best form in this situation because he can just disperse his body into sand every time he gets attacked. Even though he can't see or feel with his skin, Alex's reflex is great enough to make his Shukaku sand body disperse upon contact.
So he keeps this form while trying to get used to his loss of sense. The demons attack him with different attacks again, but his body just keeps being destroyed into sand dust every time they attack. They've gotten stronger, but their attacks still cause zero damage to Alex.
"I can't see your faces, but I bet you are very frustrated right now, right? Your superior Curse can't even break through my inferior Magic." Alex can't hear what he says, but he's sure he doesn't say it wrongly.
He's already used to his loss of 5 senses now. It takes a moment to process because his 5 senses are so strong that losing them instantly is very difficult to stomach. It's like losing half of himself because he relies so much on his sharp senses.
Fortunately, he knows that only his 5 physical senses are blocked. So he just needs to get used to only using his 6th and 7th sense. Yes, his instinct and magic sense are not blocked, so he needs to focus on using just them.
While still in his mini Shukaku form to prevent getting damaged by the demons' attacks, Alex tries to fight back. He relies on his magic sense and instinct to predict what kind of attacks the demons are going to use.
Alex raises a thick sand wall in front of him, blocking a thrown Bomb Curse from Jackal. He only senses a flying energy ball packed with energy that feels like they'll burst anytime, so he blocks it with a sand wall that gets half destroyed by the bomb.
Then he shoots some air bullets to counter the incoming invisible flying blades from Ezel. Alex raises his left hand to block an enhanced Curse punch from Seilah. He fends it off easily while also blocking a very powerful darkness magic beam from Franmalth that comes from the front.
"Hmm? That feels like magic, a darkness element and it feels familiar. Oh! Hades."
As Alex guesses, Franmalth is using Hades's Darkness Magic. He even transforms into Hades, although only his head looks exactly like Hades while his body is still an abomination.
The demons keep attacking Alex with their Curses, physical attacks, and even Magic that have gotten much stronger after they activate their Etherious forms.
But all their attacks are defended by Alex who only relies on his instinct and magic sense. He even starts attacking after a while as he gets more used to only relying on his non-physical senses.
Then, Alex takes it up a notch. He transforms into his mini Kurama form after making sure that the whole room is fully sealed with Shukaku's seals so the demons won't be able to break out of this room before he's done with them.
Now, as Kurama, he can't control the sand that he has made from grinding the walls, floor, and ceiling. But now he can sense evil or negative emotions very clearly. This is the reason why he transforms into Kurama.
Naruto can detect the perfectly disguised White Zetsu because Kurama can sense negative emotions. So Alex wants to see if he can use it too and if it can help him in this current situation when he can't use his 5 senses.
Kurama isn't just good at sensing evil or negative emotion, but also sensing all kinds of energy because he can also utilize natural energy. He is a kind of Sage. The other Tailed Beasts are the same, but Kurama is better at using natural energy.
Combining those sensory abilities with Alex's magic sense and wild beast instinct makes Alex can sort of see the whole room clearly despite losing his eye sight.
He feels like this whole room is made of grids and the demons are lumps of energy in humanoid shapes. Their Curses and Magic also look like lumps of energy in different shapes depending on what they use.
Surprisingly, he can even sense the Curse casts on him. Kyoka's Pain Amplification and Sensory Deprivation, Seilah's Macro, and even Keyes's and Tempester's Magic Barrier Particles that still linger around him, trying to infiltrate his body anytime to poison him.
Alex sort of sees everything around him like 3D simulations. But everything is black and white. There's no color, only shapes that even he can't see and can only feel.
He even finds a way to break Kyoka's Sensory Deprivation Curse to regain his 5 senses, but he doesn't do it now because the current situation is more interesting.
Alex continues fighting the demons and now his moves are much more precise. He starts avoiding their attacks instead of blocking or taking them head on because Kurama can't disperse his body into particles like Shukaku.
The demons' attacks keep increasing at abnormal rates. Alex wonders how they can still get stronger and then realizes that Kyoka is enhancing all of them. She can enhance her power as she please and apparently, she can also use it on others.
So they are much stronger than they should be, but they still can't overwhelm Alex, which really frustrated them because they have very strong pride and they look down on humans so much, so this really hurts their pride.
Tempester sends a blizzard drill punch, but Alex slides beneath it and punches him in the stomach instead, sending him to crash onto the wall.
Ezel tries to sneak attack and cut him from behind, but Alex swings his own claws, creating energy blades that break Ezel's blades before Alex sends a strong kick, sending Ezel to the wall too.
Torafuzar tries to drown him in poisonous black water, but Alex dashes out of the black water, grabs Torafuzar's head, and slams it down to his knee kick before tossing him away.
He throws Torafuzar at Franmalth who transforms into Bluenote and raises the gravity on Alex, but doesn't show any effect on him because it's not too strong for Alex.
Jackal tries to shoot numerous Bomb Curse from a distance, but Alex quickly shoots a small Tailed Beast Bomb Cannon from his mouth and the beam blasts Jackal away, preventing him from using his Bomb Curse.
Seilah tries to punch him with a fist that has a lot of Curse Power in it. She has strengthened herself with her Macro, and combined with Kyoka's enhancement, her punch becomes very powerful.
But Alex destroys it with another punch that doesn't have any glow like her punch that's coated with glowing Curse Power. Alex's punch already packs more power as it is.
As he pushes back Seilah, Alex also catches Kyoka who tries to attack him from behind. He catches her with his tails and as she tries to stab him by extending her sharp claws, he slams him down onto the floor.
Alex fights off the demons even when he can't use his 5 senses. The newly revived Madara only couldn't see because he didn't have eyes, but Alex can't sense anything with his 5 senses.
After a while, the demons are the ones getting tired and their movements become duller from the damage they receive while Alex still has a lot of energy.
"Seems like we need to end this here." With a smirk, Alex breaks Kyoka's Curse.
