Chapter 25 - Chapter 24: Spartan vs a God

Question, do you guys play Warframe I'm trying to get back into it but there are so many things added

============

with a burst of light, she came out of hyperspeed first she asked her AI if there were some problems with the flight systems

"Alright, Auratrix, run the diagnostics," she said, her golden eyes scanning the hud that showed the armor stats with critical interest.

A holographic projection of a young woman with twin halos appeared next to her and nodded with an enthusiastic salute.

"Diagnostics running! Power systems are stable, energy shielding at 96% efficiency, and Divine Drive is functional. Buuuut…" The AI trailed off mischievously.

Celestia narrowed her eyes. "But?"

Auratrix pointed at the shoulder pauldrons and grinned. "Those are too bulky, boss. That's a mobility liability. And the cooling system? Pfft. If someone hits this thing with high magic energy like peak ultimate class without the energy shield, we're looking at an overheating crisis in less than five minutes."

"Flight stability is at 94%. Boosters are holding up, but you're still overloading on sharp turns," Auratrix reported, watching the armor leave glowing contrails behind.

Inside the helmet, Celestia clicked her tongue. "Ugh, still? I was hoping I wouldn't have to tweak the energy distribution manually."

She twisted mid-air, dodging a flock of startled crows before activating her energy wings, which flickered into hard dragon-like constructs. The armor hummed in approval, but Celestia frowned.

"It still feels a little sluggish," she muttered. "I need to fine-tune the Albion reactor."

"Noted," Auratrix responded. "I'd also suggest reducing the holy energy output by 2%. You're scaring the local spirits."

Just as she was about to land back on the temple, a powerful, chaotic presence flared up nearby.

She paused, her golden eyes narrowing behind the visor. "Oh? That's… interesting."

The signature was unmistakable. A chaotic, storm-like energy belonging to none other than Susanoo, the God of Storms and Battle.

Auratrix chimed in. "It seems Lord Susanoo is visiting Kyoto today. How convenient."

Celestia smirked. "Perfect. Let's give the Mark I a real stress test."

Without hesitation, she changed course, launching toward the source of the energy. The streets below blurred as she soared toward the outskirts of Kyoto, where Susanoo stood at the edge of an ocean, arms crossed as he gazed at the sky.

The storm god raised an eyebrow as she descended, landing before him with a thunderous impact that cracked the earth beneath her boots.

When the Spartan-like armored figure crashed down before him in a burst of holy light and dragon energy, Susanoo instinctively took a step back.

Then his brain caught up.

His mouth fell open.

Susanoo then felt the holy power and godly energy in her and pointed dramatically. "You're supposed to be THE almighty God of the Bible! The big guy upstairs! And now you're a—"

"A very beautifully and powerful woman?" she interrupted, smirking behind her visor.

"That's not what I—" Susanoo groaned, dragging a hand down his face. "This is some isekai anime nonsense."

When he got a good look at the armor he was shocked. " No way is that a halo spartan armor!!"

She tilted her helmeted head. " Yup straight from the game mix with some magic. New look, new tools. Thought I'd take them for a spin."

Celestia tilted her head. "Wait… don't tell me—"

Susanoo grinned like a madman. "That's right. I'm a gamer and this? This is hilarious."

A deep, thunderous laugh erupted from him as he clutched his sides. The idea of the almighty Biblical God getting an anime protagonist-style gender bend reincarnation with a power armor suit from a video game was just too much.

"Oh, this is gold. I—hold on, I need a second—" he wheezed, wiping away a tear.

Celestia crossed her arms, tapping a foot. "Are we fighting 'cause I need to test this armor, or are you just going to stand there laughing at my existence?"

Susanoo wiped his nose, his grin turning feral. "Oh, we're definitely fighting. I just—man, I can't believe the Christian God turned into an armored waifu."

She cracked her knuckles. "You won't be laughing once I kick your ass."

Susanoo had other thoughts "Wait let's make a bet on this fight."

Celestia raised a brow but nodded " ok if I win I want you to show me you're Leviathan Creator power that makes all those sea monsters you have in your realm."

Susanoo just nodded" Ok if I win I want a Gundam suit but I don't know why you want to see that, you already have a much better creation with those angels compared to my sea monsters."

Celestia just grinned like a madwoman " What does every mad scientist want to elevate their creations to a new level."

Susanoo just laughs "Ha! I guess reincarnation gives you more of a personality than that boring old man you were." Susanoo's aura flared, sparks of lightning crackling around him as a storm brewed overhead. He summoned his legendary blade, Totsuka-no-Tsurugi, resting it on his shoulder.

Susanoo his grin turning feral "Ohhh, this is gonna be fun."

" don't worry I fight just with this prototype armor to make it fair for you," Celestia said

"System, engage combat thrusters."

Auratrix chimed in. "Boosters online. No refunds if you crash."

With a pulse of holy magic, thrusters ignited from the back of her armor. One second she was standing still, the next she was right in Susanoo's face, fist glowing with dragon energy. slamming her fist toward Susanoo's chest. He twisted at the last moment, avoiding the strike, but the sheer force sent shockwaves rippling through the ground, splitting stone.

BOOM!

Susanoo barely had time to block before the force of the strike sent him flying back, skidding across the river like a skipping stone. He twisted mid-air, landing on his feet as he grinned.

"Damn, that spartan armor really gives you a punch!"

Celestia checked her HUD. " Note: Impact force solid, but thruster feedback is off. I'll need to recalibrate."

Susanoo charged, sword crackling with electricity as he swung. Celestia blocked with an energy shield, but the impact sent shockwaves through her armor, making her HUD glitch slightly.

"Shield integrity at 80%," Auratrix reported.

"Tch. Noted," Celestia muttered, countering with a burst of divine flames.

Susanoo dodged, flipping through the air before slashing toward her visor.

SCREEEECH!

Celestia barely dodged, the blade scraping against the side of her helmet.

She grinned.

"Alright, alright, I see the issue. I need better close-range tracking."

Susanoo smirked. "What, testing your suit mid-fight?"

"Of course," she said, flexing her fingers. "You're the best debugging dummy I could ask for."

"...You did not just call me a debugging dummy."

"Oh, I did do something about it."

Susanoo's eyes twitched. "Alright, now I'm mad."

The fight resumed, shaking the very air with thunderclaps and explosions

Susanoo raised his sword skyward, lightning coalescing into a monstrous storm dragon that roared to life. "Thunder Fang!" he called, swinging his blade down.

(should I put special moves in bold or nah)

A massive serpent-like dragon of lightning lunged at the Goddess, its fangs crackling with divine destruction. But she wasn't impressed.

"Auratrix, activate White Dragon module."

"Deploying… enjoy your new toy, my lady."

The Black Dragon Wings unfurled from her back—a draconic exoskeleton of divine energy, shaped like Albion's own wings. Holy energy surged through the armor, amplifying her speed tenfold. With a burst of light, she shot upward, twisting mid-air as the dragon crashed into the ground, obliterating the shrine courtyard below.

"Fast, but predictable."

She retaliated, summoning her own energy blade a lance of divine flames. With a downward thrust, she hurled it toward Susanoo like a meteor. The impact sent out a shockwave, forcing him to leap back as the ground exploded beneath him.

As the fight dragged on, her suit began showing flaws. The mobility thrusters overheated, forcing her to fight in bursts rather than sustained speed. The energy shielding had a delay, making quick counterattacks tricky. And the White Dragon exoskeleton drained too much power, forcing her to ration her attacks.

Susanoo grinned, noticing her struggle. "Looks like that fancy armor has a few bugs, eh?"

She panted slightly, analyzing the situation. "Yeah… but that's why we test it."

"And now comes the real test."

Susanoo gripped his sword with both hands, his body glowing with a godly aura. "Time to end this!"

He unleashed Ame-no-Murakumo, a technique that summoned a divine storm, wind blades materializing in a dome around them.

Celestia took a deep breath. "System, override power restrictions. We're going all in."

Auratrix hesitated. "That could fry the suit."

"Then let's hope I win before that happens."

With a grin, she shot forward, armor glowing at max power, meeting Susanoo head-on in a final explosive clash of blade and storm.

When the dust settled, the shrine was obliterated, both warriors were exhausted, and the armor… was in rough shape.

Susanoo sat on a broken torii gate, chuckling. "That was fun! You might actually give me trouble next time."

Celestia sighed, tossing aside her cracked helmet. "Yeah, yeah. The suit needs work. But at least now I know what to fix."

Auratrix's voice chimed in. "Analysis complete. Recommendations: better cooling, stronger shields, and maybe… don't let a storm god hit you head-on."

She groaned. "Gee, thanks, Auratrix ."

Susanoo laughed. "Next time, bring me a rematch. Preferably with fewer malfunctions."

Celestia smirked. "Oh, don't worry. When I'm done upgrading, you'll wish it malfunctioned."

Susanoo smirks "I also want my Gundam in the mail and I want it in purple and light blue."
