Avery had just fallen asleep when her phone rang.
With her eyes closed, she reached for the phone and put it to her ear. "Hello?"
The female bodyguard and driver she had just hired said, "Miss Carter, Isaac is on the roof of the new department store. He threatens to jump down from the pf if he doesn't see you within half an hour.
"Many media outlets and internet celebrities are broadcasting this thing. The television station has sent reporters here. Are you going to see him?"
"Ha!" Avery opened her eyes and her jaw almost dropped.
Isaac was not getting any younger, yet he was as childish as to threaten her.
Avery knew Isaac's intention was for her to support the Murphy family and keep it wealthy and luxurious.
