"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Her scream tore from her throat raw and broken. The shrill cry echoed into the night causing a few birds that had been sleeping in their nest to fly away for safety. She clung into nothingness hoping that her baby would appear in her hand, her trembling hands still stained crimson red with her blood. The pain from between her legs,the absence of her child told her what she didn't want to know. She hadn't imagined any of that and her child was really gone.
He took her.
Her breathing quickened as her chest constricted tightly in her chest. Blood pooled in her mouth, sliding through the corner of her lips. Her vision blurred and she could still see the outline of the demon who had taken her baby even though she knew it was all in her head.
The realisation of her situation seemed to have finally dawned on her.
He had just ripped her only source of joy away from her.
