"Ah okay," Bella replied, her voice clearly showing how meek her personality was.
On the other side of the cafeteria.
Arthur asked Edward as he turned to face him.
"I'm not like you am I?"
"No, You're not like me, you're much worse," Edward replied without missing a beat.
"Considering how contrived your mind is, that actually means by societal standards, I am better," Arthur mumbled as he turned to face away before speaking once more.
"Are you just going to let her give Bella a bad impression about you?"
"It doesn't really matter Arthur," Emmet interjected before Edward could reply.
"It doesn't?" Arthur questioned before stopping for a moment and then giving a soft nod.
"I suppose that's right considering how strong the bond Alice feels is. If it works similarly for Edward and Bella then bad rumors won't really even be considered at the end of the day." Arthur said before releasing a soft sigh.
"I'm glad I'm not like that," Arthur said as he looked in Bella's direction, his eyes briefly meeting with her's before the girl quickly turned her eyes away, in what looked almost like fright.
'Not really a social butterfly is she?' Arthur thought before he heard Rosalie question him.
"And why is that?"
"It would make me feel like I'm actually being manipulated and that those emotions aren't really mine, especially with how muted my other emotions are. It would bring me to a point where I would doubt Alice so much that a relationship between us would be impossible." Arthur replied, though the topic wasn't exactly light-hearted, his tone of voice was completely nonchalant as if he was talking about how he liked to eat his morning rabbit leg.
The Cullens at the table sat silent.
It was at this moment that the bell signaling the end of lunch break rang.
Getting up from his seat, Arthur gave the three a light smile.
"Don't mind my words however, that is only the case for someone with muted emotions. For others it would feel completely normal and a part of life. I guess you could even say that having a soul mate is just as natural to one's life as their birth and death." Arthur said before getting his starting to walk toward his next class.
"He's really unsettling," Emmet said as he stood up.
"How?" Edward questioned as he and Rosalie stood up from their seat as well.
"Being able to completely rationalize one's emotions and life, isn't something a regular person does now is it?" Emmet replied with a low chuckle.
The three didn't discuss anymore as they headed out of the cafeteria.
Droves of students around them similarly walk towards their next classes for the day.
Hours passed, with Arthur pushing through the boring classes one after the other.
With a ring, the bell signaling the end of the classes for the day was heard.
Getting up from his seat slowly, he quickly put the book he had on the table inside his backpack and closed the zipper, before slinging it over his right shoulder and starting to walk away.
"Hey did you hear?" A murmur rang out in the hallway as Arthur passed by.
"Hear what?"
"Arthur's going out with insane Alice."
"Really? I would have never thought that even in my dreams."
"Yeah, He even insulted all his other friends at the cafeteria, Jacob looked so hurt. I guess the perfect student really doesn't exist."
Walking through the halls, Arthur heard more and more whispers.
'So you really decided to go against me, Jacob.' Arthur thought as his already cold eyes seemed to almost become covered in a cold frosty mist.
Looking ahead of him, Arthur saw Jacob together with his small group of friends, or hooligans as Arthur decided to call them.
For a moment the boy turned his head, his eyes meeting Arthur's gaze.
Arthur could clearly see it, the joy and ridicule held towards him in those eyes.
Walking at a moderate pace, Arthur arrived right behind the group.
Jacob had already turned his gaze away, ignoring Arthur.
Walking closely, Arthur stepped right next to Jacob who turned his attention to the new arrival.
"Wha…"
Before he could say a word, Arthur opened his mouth and whispered.
"So the failed athlete who has feelings for his stepmother wants to fight me?"
For a moment Jacob didn't react, in the very next moment, however, his pupils enlarged as rage took hold of his mind.
"You trashy bastard," Jacob shouted as he pushed Arthur to the ground and started punching his face.
"I just wanted to apologise, Jacob, I just wanted to tell you guys that I didn't know I did something wrong!" Arthur said loudly, his voice sounding almost broken.
It was at this moment that Jacob stopped however it was much too late.
A large number of students were surrounding the two.
And there they stood, Jacob on top of Arthur, his fist colored red in blood.
One might find it odd, the amount of blood was too large for such a quick scuffle and there hadn't been any weapons involved. Arthur's nose wasn't even broken.
So how was his hand covered in blood?
Arthur had forcibly bitten various locations in his own mouth, as well as forcibly erupted the blood vessels in his nose right before he had gotten entangled with Jacob.
Those preparations had given him the method to create a scene as horrific as this one.
"Stop Jacob!" One of the students said as they looked at the scene.
It was at this moment that one of the teachers heading out of the classrooms saw the sight.
The man's mind went blank for a moment at the sight before he quickly rushed towards the two and practically tore Jacob off of Arthur.

Update on my daily life if anyone's curious as to why I was gone.
I've been to the gym for an entire month now, Already lost around 5 kilograms, though I do feel like shit but It had to be done.
I've managed to secure a scholarship in college as well so after around two months I'll be taking a break as I get situated in my new dorm. I'll be going to Vienna for a year.
That's basically what has happened.
