The gates of Camelot closed behind me as I got on my dragons back. My first goal was the ruins of Danafor. Since I want to see how big the crater is and I wanna see if I could also find anything useful.
[Quest Updated: A Journey Begins]
Objective: Reach the Ruins of Danafor.
Reward: 5,000 EXP, ???
The flight was long, we stopped only once, in a secluded valley, to rest and hunt. I used the time to experiment with my skills.
I used Observe on many different things to get basic information from it. After a day and a half of flight, the landscape began to change. The vibrant greens faded into a vast, cracked badland of grey stone and withered earth.
We were close to our destination. The moment we finally made it to see the large crater. I opened my eyes as I saw the massive large crater covering a good amount of what used to be land miles, and miles of nothingness.
"By the gods..." and the worst part is that I would have to gain the strength to do something similar in the future since I wasn't going to lay around and let the sin take every enemy down since well this isn't no longer a fucking cartoon and it's not guaranteed for them to win any of the battles they won in the original canon….also I wanted to fuck the shit out of Elizabeth so I would need to cuck the blonde midget to do so and I don't want to be killed by his hands so I need power for that too.
"Take us down, boy. Gently. On the rim."
He obeyed, landing with a soft thud on the glassy, fused rock at the chasm's edge. Dis mounting, I walked to the precipice and looked down. The scale was even more dizzying from up close.
Time to loot. After all I was hoping I could find something useful here since that was my main reason to come otherwise this would just be an equivalent to someone going to the Grand Canyon.
"Let's go," I said to Rodrigo, patting his scaled neck. "Stay alert."
We began a slow, cautious descent along a narrow, treacherous path that switch backed down the chasm wall. The silence was oppressive, broken only by the scuff of my boots and the dislodgement of pebbles that tumbled into the abyss.
After an hour of climbing, we reached a relatively stable ledge that opened into a ruined plaza. The architecture was grand, even in its utter devastation.
I was about to move on when a guttural hiss echoed from a collapsed archway. From the shadows, three hulking, canine-like creatures emerged. They were the size of wolves, but their bodies were made of jagged, dark rock, with glowing red embers for eyes and maws that dripped with molten slag.
Name: Ash Hound
Description: A magical beast born from the concentrated misery and volcanic essence of Danafor. Uses fire-based attacks.
Status: Hostile.
The Ash Hounds lunged. I drew my high steel sword, the ring of metal loud in the dead air. My Swordsmanship flared to life, my body moving with a grace that still felt alien and exhilarating. I sidestepped the first hound's lunge, my blade carving a deep gash across its rocky flank. It howled, a sound like grinding stone.
The second one opened its maw, and a torrent of orange-hot fire erupted towards me.
I didn't dodge.
I stood my ground, bracing myself as the flames washed over me. I found no pain as I dissipated the flames.
I charged through the dissipating flames, my sword a blur. With two precise strikes, I beheaded the second hound and impaled the third.
[Battle Concluded! EXP Gained.]
[Looting Activated.]
Acquired: [Ash Hound Core x3] - [Cracked Magestone x2]
I stored the materials in my inventory. They might be useful for something later. More importantly, my quest progress was underway.
For the next several hours, we delved deeper. We encountered more Ash Hounds and other creatures similar to them.
The deeper we went, the stronger the feeling of dread became. My [Danger Sense] was now a constant, throbbing hum. I was about to call it a day, my inventory now holding a collection of odd cores and magestones, when I found it.
Tucked away in a half-collapsed vault, protected by a faded, flickering ward that shattered at my touch, was a single, intact object. It was a gauntlet, forged from a strange, dark metal that seemed to drink the light. It was elegantly crafted, with subtle draconic motifs along the forearm.
[Gauntlet of the king]
[Rank: B]
[Description: The old ancestral weapon of this kingdom royal family. Enhances the wearer's grip and grants minor resistance to crushing forces.]
I turning the gauntlet over before putting him in my inventory. The ground trembled under my feet.

"…Guardian?" I repeated.
As if on cue, the plaza's far wall split open, stone lifting as if pushed from behind by something enormous. Lava-bright cracks appeared along the floor, outlining a massive circle that began to rise.
"Leave Rodrigo I can handle them by myself" I ordered as my dragon clearly did not like my order, but follow it anyways as he left, the cave and flew up leaving the crater.
A gargantuan humanoid figure eight meters tall, carved from obsidian and molten iron dragged itself out of the earth. Its movements were sluggish but purposeful, embers falling off its body with each step. A broken crown of twisted metal rested on its head.
Man fuck this shit where is my fairy tail rip off? It seems like I'm in a fucking dark souls and cultivation fanfic world even though I'm in seven deadly diddy.
Name: Guardian Of The Weapon Of The King
Type: Construct/Warden
Status: Hostile
Threat Level: D- Rank
Notes: Bound to protect Danafor's royal relics. Engages intruders upon detection of artifact removal.
"RETURN… THE KING'S ARMAMENT."
Reflecting an attack by the guardian I felt an intense pain as I grip my sword, hard enough to reflect his attack.
I dashed forward, sword drawn, aiming for its ankle joint. My blade bounced off harmlessly. The guardian swept its massive arm, swatting at me like an insect. I ducked and activated some of my skills.
My sword ignited with pale blue energy, extending the reach and sharpening the edge.
I struck again this time sparks flew as the metal chipped. The guardian dug its hand into the ground and ripped up a burning boulder the size of a wagon. Then threw it straight at me.
"OH SH…"
I leapt sideways, but the shockwave still blasted me into a shattered pillar.
The guardian stomped the ground again, creating a fiery fissure that raced toward me.
I jumped barely and fired a Mana Slash downward. It hit the guardian's chest, burning a glowing line across the obsidian armor.
The guardian's molten cracks flared bright red.
Now the Guardian's movements changed from sluggish and heavy to sharper, faster than something that big had any right to be.
The Guardian charged I dashed forward, meeting it head on. Its fist descended quickly I moved under it, sliding along the melted floor, and slashed upward across its wrist joint. Sparks flew, a molten chunk of obsidian armor clattering to the ground.
The Guardian swung again. I ducked. It stomped a massive fissure erupted beneath me. I kicked off the wall, flipping over its shoulder and bringing my sword down in an overhead arc.
This time my blade carved deeper, slicing a glowing trench down its back.
The Guardian roared an cry and spun, swatting me with a molten forearm. I flew as I crashing through several pillars, I tumbled across the melting stone.
The Guardian didn't give me time to breathe.
It raised both arms, absorbing heat into its core.
The molten cracks shifted from orange to white the Guardian slammed its fists into the ground.
The entire plaza erupted into a volcanic explosion. I sprinted toward a fallen slab of stone and dove behind it
As the heat dissipated, I have decided that this was fucking enough. I need to end this now or think about a way to escape.
I risked a glance over the smoldering slab. The Guardian stood at the center of the devastation.
Covering my fist with my magic I ran to it. The guardian's foot slammed down a split-second later, the shockwave erupting beneath me but in the moment I had jumped as I left it up my face already covered in my magic.
I twisted mid-air and slammed my mana-coated fist straight into the guardian's face.
BOOOOM.
The construct's head snapped backward, part of its obsidian features cracking like shattered glass. It stumbled, lava splashing out of its torso in thick ropes.
It roared an ear-splitting metallic bellow and swung both arms in a wide arc toward me. I landed and rolled just in time as two molten fists smashed into the floor, turning stone into bubbling magma.
It pulled its hands free and lifted them overhead, charging another explosion. I dashed in again, dodging a white-hot swipe by inches. My sword hummed, reacting to the mana flooding through my limbs.
I leaped, spinning once, and brought the glowing sword down in a diagonal arc.
A crescent of pale-blue light tore across the guardian's chest, carving a deep diagonal trench from shoulder to hip.
A shockwave of heat and force radiated outward as the guardian's body split apart, fragments of superheated obsidian flying in all directions.
I raised my arm, bracing against the explosion, boots digging trenches into the half-melted ground.

Gacha Tokens is essentially a free gamble to get any item from the Multiverse. You could either get a legendary weapon or get a used condom, depending on your luck]

The influx of power was immediate and staggering. Knowledge of martial arts forms advanced grapples, joint locks, and devastating close-quarter strikes flooded my mind, feeling as natural as breathing.
That went from my other skills as well.
My first order of business was getting the hell out of Danafor. The fight had drained me, and this place was a shit hole.
A moment later, Rodrigo massive blue form descended into the crater, landing with a gust of wind that scattered the ash.
"Miss me, boy?" I grinned, patting his snout. He rumbled, nudging me with his head. "Let's find a place to rest. Somewhere with a coastline."
I mounted up, and we soared out of the hellish pit, leaving Danafor behind. We flew for hours, the bleak badlands eventually giving way to rolling green hills and, finally, the sparkling expanse of the ocean. Following the coastline, I spotted a perfect cove a sheltered beach, a freshwater stream, and a small, easily defensible forest.
