The void was still, as it always was, but my mind was anything but calm.
The pain from binding with Doom had faded, leaving behind a strange, almost electric sensation in my veins.
The gun, Doom, rested in my hands, it felt different now, lighter, more alive, as if it were an extension of my own body..
I had bound it to me, endured the agony of its recognition, and now it was mine.
But as I stared at the screen floating in front of me, at the words
(Ash of Negation)
I realized I didn't fully understand what that meant.
Or so I thought.
But, was there any special explaination that Fen didn't say?
I wanted to know.
"Spectator," I said, my voice cutting through the silence. "You said I need to understand the gun, to understand its power. So… tell me. What is truly the Ash of Negation?"
"Didn't you read the novel, and didn't Fen tell you." Spectator replied.
