Chapter 338 - Chapter 338 Future Plans

It was unclear whether Kikyo's smooth delivery was due to her excellent physical condition or the fact that she had already given birth twice before. Regardless, the child was born without complications shortly after she entered the delivery room.

As an outsider, Law naturally wasn't privy to this joyous news immediately, nor did he have the privilege of seeing the newborn right away. He could only deduce the birth based on his observations.

At this moment, the Zoldyck Family was immersed in celebration, but they didn't neglect Law entirely and assigned a butler to arrange a room for him.

It was unusual in itself for an outsider to temporarily live in the Zoldyck Family's estate, during the birth of a new family member.

From this, it can see that the Zoldyck family did not treat Law as a pure outsider. The fact that he could sit at their dining table also indirectly illustrates this point.

The biggest reason for this was Maha's unusually favorable attitude toward Law, which had subtly influenced the rest of the family.

In the guest room, Law lay on his back on the plush bed, with his hands behind his head, staring at the ornate, domed canopy above. His thoughts drifted aimlessly.

He thought about Killua, who had just been born, about the phone call with Ging, and about the things he needed to do in the future, and sighed softly. Even though he had been in this world for several years now, there were still moments when everything felt slightly unreal.

'Killua's born, which means Alluka should be coming soon. Once Killua is old enough to issue a 'command' to Nanika inside Alluka, I can instantly restore Buhara's arm without any backlash.'

'For that, I don't have to wait until the original plot begins. I can do it when Killua is still five or six years old. But I have to do it before the Zoldyck Family discovers Alluka's ability. That'll save a lot of trouble.'

'Even if the timing isn't perfect, as long as I maintain a good relationship with the Zoldycks over the next few years, it should be manageable.'

Law had a relatively clear plan in mind. What he didn't know, however, was that Kikyo had actually given birth to twins this time. One was Killua and the other was Alluka.

He always thought that Killua was the third child of the Zoldyck Family, while Alluka was the fourth child. After all, this was not mentioned in the original work, so from the logical standpoint, it was a reasonable assumption. (T/N: From what I saw in the Wiki, it is written that Alluka is the second youngest child of the Zoldyck Family, so the Author should be wrong in this matter.)

'Considering that I had to have a good relationship with Killua, I have to visit Zoldyck Family's house more often in the future. Using food as an excuse for visits seemed like a solid plan.'

Even though he would be spending the next few years training under Linne, that shouldn't interfere too much. Besides, Law genuinely liked Killua, so seeing the boy grow up would be an interesting experience in itself.

Following this line of thought, Law's thoughts slowly expanded. When he thought about the future, he couldn't help but consider the subsequent plot.

The Yorknew City Arc, where the Phantom Troupe would make their grand entrance, the surreal game, Greed Island Arc, and the Chimera Ants Arc.

When thinking of Yorknew City Arc, Law subconsciously thought of the massacre of the Kurta Clan.

When thinking of Greed Island, he thought of the cards on the island with various strange abilities, though there should be more stringent restrictions for these abilities.

When thinking of Chimera Ants Arc, he thought of Netero's death.

These things are a known future, but now that he's here, it is still unclear whether they will actually happen in the future.

If he wanted to interfere with the future, there were probably only two things that Law cared about.

One was to prevent the massacre of the Kurta Clan, and the other was to prevent the rise of the Chimera Ants.

However, he doesn't know the location of the Kurta Clan or the exact timeline of the event. Should he warn Chrollo in advance, acting as if he has foresight, to deter him from coveting the Scarlet Eyes?

As for the Chimera Ant Queen's emergence, Law isn't sure of the time or place either. That's the real trouble.

The more he thought about it, the more his head ached, so Law simply stopped thinking about it for the time being and decided to take it one step at a time.

As for how the future would unfold, he wasn't worried, nor did he have any reservations. However, he didn't want Netero to die at the hands of the Chimera Ants

The next day, Law descended the mountain and entered the forest.

He planned to gather local ingredients, focusing on mountain delicacies, and prepare the Buddha Jumps Over the Wall again. After all, the amount he made yesterday wasn't enough to satisfy the entire Zoldyck Family.

In addition, Kikyo had just given birth, so the Buddha Jumps Over the Wall could help her recover.

Law wasn't alone, as he was accompanied by Tsubone. Maybe she wanted to limit Law's actions to the visible range, or maybe she simply wanted to help Law. In short, no matter what the reason, Law didn't care.

Wandering through the forest, hunting and foraging, it took about two hours for Law to collect over thirty different ingredients. He was satisfied with this and decided to head back, but since he had ventured quite far, the return trip would take some time.

Since gathering the ingredients had taken a while, and cooking Buddha Jumps Over the Wall also takes time, in order to let Law return as soon as possible, Tsubone used her Nen Ability and directly transformed into a pedal-powered aircraft.

[Rider's High] is Tsubone's Nen Ability, which allowed her to materialize her body into various vehicles.

However, she couldn't operate move herself, and the pilot had to use their Aura as fuel.

"Get on. Just channel your Aura into it."

Tsubone, who had transformed into an aircraft, said calmly.

He had two reasons for doing this. One was to ensure the freshness of the ingredients so that her masters could eat the Buddha Jumps Over the Wall as soon as possible. The other was to take this opportunity to test Law's skill level.

Seeing Tsubone readily turn into a vehicle, a flicker of surprise crossed Law's eyes. He knew that this was her Nen Ability, which appeared in the original work, but he did not expect that Tsubone would be willing to let him pilot her for something like this.

Without hesitating for too long, Law secured the bag of ingredients and stepped onto the aircraft, gripping the handles and channeling his Aura into it.

Instantly, the aircraft's tail emitted a burst of aura-propelled flames, lifting off the ground at high speed. Within seconds, it soared above the treetops and into the sky.

It was the first time for Law to fly a flying vehicle that was materialized by Tsubone, but since it relied on Aura output, he quickly adapted.

After just ten seconds, he found the optimal output frequency.

The aircraft flew swiftly toward Kukuroo Mountain, accelerating as it went. A trip that would normally take an hour was completed in less than three minutes.

During those three minutes, Tsubone did not give Law any hints, but Law still mastered the techniques at an astonishing speed.

'Impressive.'

Because she was directly receiving Law's Aura, Tsubone could clearly sense Law's terrifying adaptability. In such a short time, he had found the perfect output balance, and the quality of his Aura was also high, flowing smoothly without interruption.

Law appeared to be underage, but his skill was already remarkable.

Tsubone doesn't like Illumi, but she has to admit that Illumi's talent lives up to the Zoldyck Family's name. She originally thought that among her peers, Illumi had few rivals, but it turned out that there are always people better than him.

Upon returning to the Zoldyck Family's estate, Law carried the ingredients to the kitchen.

After Tsubone completed her task, she no longer followed him, because there would naturally be other butlers in the kitchen to assist Law.

She watched Law walk toward the kitchen, then went to find Silva and reported the matter to him.

That night, Law once again prepared the Buddha Jumps Over the Wall for the Zoldyck Family. This time, there was enough for everyone, but Illumi could not taste it since he was away on a commission.

It was also that night that Law learned Kikyo had given birth to twins, Killua and Alluka.

This fact surprised him quite a bit, but he quickly accepted and processed it.

'Killua and Alluka are twins, but their appearances were distinctly different and they also have different hair colors. Logically, there is very little evidence that they are twins.'

'However, Killua held a unique significance to both Alluka and Nanika, so if viewed this way, the twin explanation made some sense.'

After dinner, Law returned to his guest room. He wouldn't stay long and planned to leave the next morning.

The night passed, and the next morning arrived.

Law woke up, ate the breakfast prepared by the Zoldyck Family, and then prepared to return to the Hunter Association.

Before leaving, although he could not see Killua and Alluka in person, he requested a photo of them.

Given the Zoldyck Family's secrecy, this was a somewhat unreasonable request.

Silva didn't know why Law wanted the photo, but he gave it to him anyway and personally sent Law down the mountain.

After several interactions, Silva believed the Zoldyck Family could establish a relationship with Law.
