Fairy Tail's members—especially Future Macao and the others who had held the fort for seven years—were once again moved to tears.

She said this both to Lucy and the others, and to Erza inside the card.
After this event, the gap between Team A and Team B had widened to three points. As fellow girlfriends of Chase, they would probably face a harsh punishment from Mira.
Erza naturally didn't hold it against her. In fact, she was still lost in the memory of last night's first kiss.
"It's okay. They just got lucky," Lucy said reassuringly, clenching her fist with confidence. "If I get a chance to compete, I'll beat them!"

And so, despite Wendy's frantic but futile attempts to mediate, their foreheads clashed once again, and they began tasting each other's saliva.
Worth noting—the two inside the cards were also going at it...
Compared to them, Fairy Tail Team B was far more harmonious.
"Good work," Chase said, handing Mira a bottle of Nutrient Z.
Mira smiled, took it, and downed it without hesitation.
With her boyfriend, there was no need for extra thanks. Though the S-Class monster had been tough, and even with the Demon King's "magic absorption" ability, she had still expanded a considerable amount of power—it hadn't been an easy fight.
"Truly worthy of Mira... drinking that without even flinching..." Future Cana couldn't help but marvel.

Even just judging by the cards he had shown so far, Chase's magic was far too versatile—a true six-sided warrior!

Juvia, meanwhile, watched Chase brushing the dust off Mira's skirt, lost in deep thought.

"Well, this is exactly how Fairy Tail was during my time as a Magic Council member," Yajima said with a sigh, then smiled. "Though trying too hard to single them out might back
fire and earn you some unwanted attention..."
After all, there was still an eight-team battle event coming up. He was kindly warning them not to turn into a two-against-six situation.
Or perhaps one-against-one-against-six?
"And breaking the rules is strictly forbidden!" Lahar added seriously.
"Always on duty, Mr. Lahar! And of course, Mr. Yajima makes a valid point too!" Chapati said, acknowledging both of them diplomatically.
Then he glanced at the freshly delivered matchup list and shouted into the microphone: "Sorry to keep you waiting! Next up is today's battle rounds!"
"First match—Mermaid Heel's Millianna versus Four Little Puppies' Semmes!"
The battle began. The burly Semmes, with his wild, spinning magic, initially pushed Millianna back step by step.
But his magic power was too weak, and his attacks too predictable. Millianna seized an opening and bound him in place with her Cat Binding.
Winner — Mermaid Heel!
Second match—Blue Pegasus's Eve versus Sabertooth's Rufus.
Both had competed in the first day's "Hidden" event and were familiar with each other's magic.
Under what seemed like a life-or-death order from Jiemon, Rufus dropped his usual showboating and went all out from the start.
In the end, Eve couldn't turn the tables and was thoroughly beaten by Rufus's Memory-Make Magic!
