Just like the Lightning God Slayer from Sabertooth earlier, "native" God Slayer Magic manifested as a dark attribute—that oppressive, chilling aura was easy to distinguish.
"A guild with that much history really is something else. Wendy might not win this easily," Juvia said with a somber tone.
Among Slayer-types, God Slayer Magic of the same level was stronger than Dragon Slayer Magic—that had already been proven on Natsu.
"Kihi, we get to see a battle between God Slayers?"

No one knew better than her how far "she" had progressed in training.
Although both Wendys had received Sky Dragon God Slayer Magic at the same time and trained together, the Wendy who had witnessed Chase's battles multiple times clearly had a head start over the clueless Future Wendy!
On the field, the hurricane had died down and the smoke cleared, revealing Wendy and Future Sherria standing inside.

"Th-This is?!" Future Sherria's pupils contracted as she instinctively stepped back.
"Divine Power Enchantment! Dragon Slayer Magic: Sky Dragon Mode!"
As Wendy shouted, strands of golden light bloomed and merged with the wind surrounding her, forming even more dazzling golden currents!
The entire audience turned to stare.
"Oh my! Wendy-chan's magic power has undergone quite a remarkable change!" Chapati shouted excitedly.
Lucy's inner monologue: That nickname is way too creepy, old man!!
"This heart-pounding pressure—even without sharing the same attribute, you can tell it's very similar to the magic Chase used the other day," Yajima gave a professional analysis.
Wendy's use of this magic solidified his suspicions even further.
"I see—since she can't master it completely in such a short time, she's enchanting part of the divine power onto her Dragon Slayer Magic instead?"
Chase crossed his arms, watching Wendy enveloped in golden currents with satisfaction. "Not bad at all."
Strictly speaking, what Wendy was using now was still Sky Dragon Slayer Magic.

No more words were needed. Both girls, now at their peak, charged at each other and erupted into another exchange of offense and defense!

The golden storm tore through the black wind multiple times, forcing Future Sherria back step by step.
And Future Sherria would occasionally find openings to counterattack with her Sky God Slayer Magic.
The spectacular magic and unyielding clash of wills left the audience utterly stunned.

Since Wendy and Future Sherria were evenly matched in magic power, and both could recover by consuming air, there was simply no way to determine a victor in such a short time.
