James thinks to himself ast the class comes to an end.
who ever invited this I wish you pain.
Izumi is hidden in her work behind him next to the second story windows. The person in front of him shifts and turns around.
"Hey James. You take notes for last class?"
James looks at Issei with a deadpan.
"No. Everytime I tried to the teacher erased the board."
Which is true that did happen and James will not admit that he could be wrong on this.
"Damn,"
Issei responds about to leave for lunch period.
"Lost in delusions again and didn't pay attention?" James chuckled out knowing Issei.
"Oi. They are NOT delusions I will be harem king and have all the glorious oppai." Issei snaps back determination burning in his eyes.
"Sure sure masochist king."James snarks getting his things and walking to Izumi.
"Izu lunch time." James says to her snapping her back to reality.
She responds and both leave for lunch.
They head outside away from others, due to most here looking down on Izumi and her quirkless status. James doesn't like people insulting someone who is he cares for so they decide to just remove themselves from that situation.
It's kinda nice being out here, without worrying James will snap at someone. Last time was 4 years ago, I know he was 14, and nearly got arrested for destruction of property. But due to the school footage they couldn't.
She giggled softly remembering the incident. Catching James attention while he was eating a pasta.
"Look I know I eat with a spoon and fork but I thought we were past you giggling at my incompetence to use chopsticks." He says with a deadpan voice to her. Which caused more laughter.
"I was remembering the food fight that caught 2 pro heros up in it. But now that you say it" she laughs softly at him.
He raised an eyebrow.
"yeah. Fun.
I really don't remember much when what's-his-name long finger or whatever decided to dump a tray of food over you. I just remember telling them it wasn't me who started it I just wanted to finish it." James says thoughtfully.
"I also remember you being extra happy after though." He looks to her.
She nods a bit with a bright smile.
"Yeah the two heros were Mrs. Joke and Werser, they gave me their autographs. Didn't I tell you?"
She looks inquisitively to him.
James shook his head.
"Don't think ya had the time and I haven't thought on that day for a while."
"True" she responds.
"Oh yeah speaking of thoughts one I just remembered. I'll be a little late afterschool, have to finish the address change and all with the faculty." James says to her.
Izumi nods in response.
"Ok, I'll head up to the underpass. I'll guide you from there." She says knowingly.
James gives a soft chuckle.
"Meet you there."
Both of them have issues with the teachers at aldera. Izumi well the reason is kinda oblivious, quirkless. Caused them not to care or to invest. James on the other hand. He because of the fact he is friends with a quirkless they feel like he's wasting his potential. And he doesn't take kindly to that thought which leads to him being aggressive with his words. It's well known by the students the only reason he wasn't suspended or expelled is for 2 main reasons. Those being he's got a powerful quirk and could be a claim to fame for them. And the fact that any fight or altercation especially when it comes to people who buiiled Izumi, he would record before he started the altercation. Showing that none of the teachers helped or was willing to help. And it would reflect horribly on the school.
Time passed and the end of the school day arrived James is currently in the teachers lounge.
"Yeah I'm not here to listen to any lectures or shit. I'm just here to update my address and turn in this form." James says to the teacher sitting at the desk. Said teacher sighs.
"James you can be an amazing hero. So many different things are open to you but you waste you-" he was cut off.
"I do not care or have the time for this just update my files." James inturrupted irritation already seeping through.
After hearing the teachers grumbles and making sure that it was updated properly. James returned to the classroom to collect his things. And left to the underpass a few blocks down.
Wait... If that big villain happened this morning. Then Shit!.
James realizing his fumble now takes of to the underpass only to hear a gust of air as he looks up to see.
Well I'm late, and that's Izumi clinging onto all might.
James sighs as he procceds to follow all might somewhat. Losing him due to the buildings and all mights speed.
If only I had evolved Charmeleon to Charizard then I could fly. Same with haunter if they were fully evolved I could fly and teleport. Though I don't know how that teleportation would work. Gotta be .... Is that Issei? Talking to a chick?
This makes James pause as he sees on a bridge is Issei talking to a black haired girl. Confused and curious he walks closer. As he gets to them he over hears the girl.
"So see you next Saturday it's a date."
Issei dumbly nods. As she walks a way James is dumbfounded for a moment. Before shaking his head glancing to the girl he noticed her glance over to him a look appearing and vanishing before James could process. As she continued on her way and Issei loud exclamations and excitement. James snaps him out of his experience to ask.
"Eyh yo masochist king, you see all might? Jumping above"
Issei gives a puzzled look at the nickname before shaking his head and responding
"No I haven't and what do you mean masochist king?."
Issei never got an answer before James started off away from him going further into the city.
Not only mha cannon but DXD fuuuuuuuuuuck. James thinks as he jogs deeper into the city trying to find all might or Izumi.
After about 20 minutes of this he stumbles onto the scene of Bakugo ensnared by the sludge villain.
Seeing this and knowing him now, it's kinda deserved. Too bad it won't help.
James focuses around him to the crowds gathering trying to pinpoint someone thought this. Mt. Lady is covering the people near him. He decided to sniff the air.
Izumi is here but wher-
"KID STOP YOUR GOING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED."
James eyes snap open to see Izumi sprinting to the sludge villain. Seeing the villain rear back to at her his body tensed and the next second he was halfway to the sludge villain.
"Another brat playing hero." Sludge growled. The eye facing James locked onto him.
Izumi was clawing to get to backugo as James hopped over a swipe from the villain he after landing he launched forward leaving a charred ground behind. Latching onto izumis waist and gripping bakugos collar.
Ya know I shouldve put a lot more thought into this. James thinks quickly before tugging and pulling Bakugo somewhat out of the sludge. Izumi still clawing at it.
"Time to die brats." The sludge villain speaks as a tendril of itself swings torwards them James covers Izumi but.
"I guess I wasn't living up to my own ideals was I yong miss." James sees all might holding back the sludge taking the hit that while wouldn't have hurt him that much would've made him crash into one of the buildings.
"A TRUE HERO IS ALWAYS RISKING THEMSELVES TO SAVE OTHERS" All might speaks out as he lashes with a punch. Scattering the sludge villain and changing the weather.
Damn on a screen and in person are so very different. James thinks to himself watching In slight awe.
But as he sat there the reporters rushed all might and the other heros rounded up the 3 teens.
Bakugo was being praised and told he wasgoing to be a great hero.
While James not much was said to him due to him stating 'if you have nothing nice to say you won't like what I have to say.' while Izumi was berated and told she don't nothing to help. Which infuriated James, to the point where izumi had to quietly ask him not to start anything. He held back for now.
After they were finally released.
Izumi and James walk back torwards the apartment complex though James noticed izumis mood. She kept a few places in front of him the entire time.
"Hey. James, do you. Do you think i could be a hero like all might with out a quirk." Izumi asked suddenly.
James blinks caught off guard by the question.
"If you're asking if you could be exactly all might.... i have to say, no." He responds softly. Noticing her flinch.
"But that's because your you... i believe you can be a hero, if that's what your asking. But you'll be your own hero not a knock off all might." James finishes with a soft smile not noticing her cheeks flushing nor the tears running down her face. They both hear the beating of shoes coming closer to them james glances back as izumi takes the time to whipe her face.
Soon arrives Bakugo.
" I didnt need either of you to help I was fine I had that villain where I wanted him. You did nothing you useless deku and you." He growled glancing at James. Meeting slitted eyes that screamed warning.
"Youll shut your mouth and leave or I'll breakit for you and punt your ass back to the school yard. Pomeranian." James snarls stepping closer as the air shimmers with heat emanating from him.
Effectively shutting Bakugo down. As he glares at james before huffing and stomping away.
Izumi glances at James greatful she doesn't have to stop him as well as standing up to Bakugo. Hearing him grumble out under his breath.
'call her worthless worth more than you stupid fuc'
and now she turns away quickly taking a few steps forward to hide her face from him
"C'mon you still have to unpack" she says loud enough to catch James attention hearing him groan about that may have made her smile a bit.
"I can help you so don't be sour about it." She says with a soft voice. She heard him sigh and say yeah that's fine. As he turns and starts catching up to her.
"I AM HERE" All might screams appearing from an alley Infront of her and James.
"All might you got away from all the interviewers?!" Izumi seem surprised
"HAHAHAHAA YES IVE WORKED THIS FOR A WHILE YOUNG MISS SO I KNOW THE SECRETS OF EXCACKARRgwk." His speech comes to an abrupt halt as he transforms into small might.
"I'm glad I found you young lady I wanted to apologize and thank you for inspiring me to act." The now small might says softer to Izumi not noticing James a few feet away.
"I-i didn't do much just got in the way." she responds with a stutter.
"Nonsense you acted when no one did.
Most great heros the ones stories are told about, had one think in common; their body moved with out them thinking." As he spoke Izumi slowly started releaseing tears and listening to him
"I think you would be a great hero and because of this I believe you are worthy to inherit my quirk." All might says proudly to her.
"Inherit your quirk? I mean thersetheruskdmuttermutter muterr."she develves into a mutter storm.
"Jeez kid, enough." All might says to her with a sweat drop.
"My quirk is called one for all, it's a quirk that is passed like a torch from generation to generation and I want you to be the successor. Will you young Midoria" All might tells her. Grabbing her attention. With her nodding fast.
"Uhhh. What the fuck.." she heard James say almost like a whisper. All might heard this as well freezing and looking over to him. With James giving the most wtf expression. As all might have a ahh I'm fucked one.
"What a secret smolls." James breaks the silence.
"Young man i-"/AM/
"Ahh j-james i-its no-" /IM/ both allmight and izumi tried to speak.
"Yea wonder how much the reporters will pay for this scoop?" James asked aloud. Further making All might and izumi panic.
He starts walking the path.
"Jeez izu you should know by now I'm joking. And you-" James points at all might.
"I'm calling you smolls in that state, follow us I gotta unpack and live alone, I assume based on what you told her you want to train her for UA?"
Izumi snorts at the nickname and contains her laugh.
"Y-yes young man I do think training is in order. And why smolls?" Yagi toshinori asked. As izumi walks forward and being a guide while holding back giggles.
James turns and shrugs.
"Small might, smolls could call ya skeletor tho if you want?"
"My name is Yagi toshinori. Young man why not use that," Smolls response.
"Cuz small might is funnier, imagine the pranks." James grins.
The small talk between the three continues untill they reach the culdesac area.
"So yeah that's what happened up to now." Izumi states with all might nodding along.
She left out bakugos threat tho did he not do that or is she protecting him?
"You know I saw you lached on to his leg and tried to follow. But still why grab a leg?"james responds with a deadpan at the end.
"I-i just wanted to ask..." Izumi flushed and softened her voice.
Allmight pats her head
"It's fine young lady, don't be to unkind young James."
"I'm just curious why the leg. Cuz with how hard your punches are the legs can use more force. More danger." James deadpans to him.
Izumi and all might freeze for a second.
"I have legs I can use my legs." All might mutters loud enough for both izumi and James to hear. Izumi looks bewildered.
James with a long suffering sigh.
"How are you the number one hero, when you forget you have legs..."
To his credit all might looks abashed.
"I ask myself that a lot young man, with my hours lower I was hoping endeavor could be the number one for a bit but.-"
"OI I FINALLY FOUND YOU YOUR GOING TO EXPLAIN WHAT YOU MEAN YOU ASS." And out of nowhere a wild red dragon emperor appears.
Izumi looks confused as does allmight as Issei stomps to James with the other members of the perv trio behind him.
James looks unfased but internally he is cackling with glee.
"Ah the masochist king and his two jesters."
The once somewhat noisely side street of the park and culdesac, became deathly silent
You see this ophis your silence, I think I understand you now.
The perverted trio froze mouth agape registering what was said but not comprehending it.
All might was no better he was looking at the three then to James with a wtf did I just hear.
Izumi had her mouth covered desperately holding back a laugh. At the sheer confusion on ther faces.

While Issei just gained a disgusted look.
Izumi couldn't help but let out a snicker At this.
"Look Issei I can't stop and talk. Catch up tomorrow." James said giving a wave as he dragged allmight and looked to a still snickering izumi to continue.
"Dude I'm not-" Issei tried to speak.
"Look man I've gotta get to my new place. And unpack everything tomorrow or something I'll be walking around anyway to find everything."
Issei nods at James answer, as they continue.
"Fair enough, oh yeah welcome to the neighborhood!" Issei responds with motohama and mitsuda both grumbling behind him. Before going into his home with the two others.
James let's out a sigh as allmight begins.
"Young Man a nickname like that for those three will only bring bad rumors to them you shou-" only to be cut off by James snickering and izumi giving a chuckle.
"They get that nickname due to being perverts and are known as the perverted trio at our school."
James adds
"When they get caught they get beat up. And yet don't stop hence the Masochist king and his jesters." Making allmight clam up.
"Ahh I see."
They continue staying to day to day topics.
and they reach the apartment complex a few blocks away. Arriving there, James pulled out his letter and key.
"Oh hey next door" izumi says noticing the apartment number. Allmight raises a brow.
"Still don't see why you asked me along"
As they continue to the two apartments.
"Well for two reasons," James responds following izumi.
"First would be talking with izus mom. And the second is hammer out smaller details. Such as teaching combat and dodging what not."James says with a smirk.
"Ahh" allmight responds elequently.
As izumi knocks on a door before turning to both James and all might.
"I'm just letting my mom know and she told me to knock so we can help."
The door opens and inko walks into the frame
"Izumi why are you? Ahh hi I'm inko" she got out before noticing James and allmight. She held her hand to all might who froze for a second.
"Yagi toshinori" he responds in greeting and shakes her hand.
"Yo mamadoria how are ya" James says with a wave.
She give him a raised eyebrow causing James to sweat a bit.
"I-it wasn't me.." James says visibly pailing.
"Ohh, so the sugar and salt mix up from last time, what about the small change of spices hmmmm" inko responds with scrutiny. Causing James to chuckle
"Gotta keep your cooking top notch. Somehow"
"Mom I know you want to get retribution for that... God do I.. but he needs to unpack. Before any of your or his pranks on each other." Izumi says peacefully with allmight glancing between the two.
"Fine, but young man" inko nods
"I will get even." She states with a gleam. Making James chuckle in what could only be described as terror.
Time to up pranking defences. James thought to himself before walking to the next door with boxes out front.
"By the way Mr Yagi, why are you with my daughter and her friend?" Inko turns her sight onto all might.
James was the first to respond.
"He's the trainer I applied for, due to some bad injuries he lost some weight but his is top notch. I offered izumi to join cuz he trains in duos." As he finished unlocking the door and looking around the apartment while carrieing a few boxesto the room they belong to and starting the unpacking.
"I researched him throughly he works at might tower, so he's legit."
Inko nods and begins to help. All might looking around for a second shrugs and begins helping.
After a while
"Young Man why do you have sound proofing pads?." Allmight asked.
"Recording," James responds placing one of the pads to the wall.
"Hey I'm going to, fix dinner is Mr. Yagi staying" inko speaks from the hallway.
Allmight thinks for a second and shrugs.
"Not today after hammering out the training deal and what they both want to accomplish by the end."
James shrugs good response he guessed.
"Alright it'll be katsud-" inko tried to say before.
"YES!" Someone cut in causing inko to laugh and James to chuckle. While allmight just gives a grin and a shake of the head. With that inko took her leave.
"Alright smolls and, Izu! C'mon meet in the living room we can get to the points of this without worries now."James said with allmight nodding.
As they all get into the room and make themselves comfortable,
"Weve got about 20-45 minutes to get this done."James says.
"Young Man why are you doing this this way?" Allmight asks.
"As someone who has delt with things outside of heros and villains it comes with the territory." Leaving izumi confused but a look of realization on all might.
"Yeah need to tell you your quirk makes you extremely magical, Ina sense." James states.
Izumi just looks between the two confused
"Magical? What -" she was cut off with a raised hand. By James
"You've agreed to be his successor, I will explain this in a second. But I need to know how much allmight knows."
Izumi quietens down and nods thoughtful looks being sent to him and all might.
"I'll be honest I don't know much least I don't think I do.." all might begins thoughtful.
"I know of devils and how there peerages work somewhat, but that's about it." Allmight says aloud.
"D-devils? Devils are real" izumi says with a little panic.
James sighs heavily.
"So you don't know much. Well let's be blunt.
All of the myths and religions are real and true.
Gods devils dragons yokai and so on all exist.
The biblical faction is where devils are from as are fallen angels and Angels. The devils have a chess set that allows them to make a peerage as they call it. They also do contracts for simple things money etc.
The reason you need to know this is well allmight leaks a lot of energy. So when you become the successor you'll gain that least from what he's said. As well as being a beacon for the supernatural. So this little conversation is warranted. And needed.
I myself am a human usurper. I took or was born with all the powers and abilities of a dragon with none of the dragon weaknesses. The supernatural world is dangerous extremely so. It is kill or be killed and things can be far worse. They tend to stay away from high ranked heros. Least they don't attack." James explained and answered their questions. Before there talks ended they talked about training and degoba beach was the chosen grounds. With izumi getting spars as well added to the training.
Waving allmight away with izumi. James couldn't help but think.
Well some things stay the same and some change now. With these secrets out between us and explanations done. Wonder how things will do.
