Loki casually accepted the tray, clumsily using the unfamiliar chopsticks to pick up a piece of meat and place it in his mouth. A satisfied breath escaped his lips. He glanced at the school-provided lunch, and a trace of disdain curled at the corner of his mouth.

Heh. What kind of trash is this food?

This was a god's lunch.

Having filled his stomach, Loki turned to look at Gwen, finding the girl a lot more pleasing to the eye now.

"Gwen, not bad this time. Keep it up."

Loki slightly raised his chin and walked out like a proud peacock.

Harry Osborn couldn't help muttering, "So arrogant. Who does he think he is?"

He was even cockier than him.

Peter and Luke both nodded in agreement, while Gwen nonchalantly told the two, "It's fine. He just looks cold."

She recalled how Loki had once played a prank on her at home and got spanked by Thor for it. His flushed face and swearing vengeance on Thor at the time made her chuckle—it was actually kind of funny.

"Let's go. Back to class."

As most people had left the cafeteria, Harry called out, and the four walked off together.

Ever since his dad had gotten a pair of "sunglasses" from Gwen's dad, he'd started caring about him a lot more, and Harry was truly grateful.

Now, having just transferred schools and immediately running into an old friend—especially one who shared a class with Gwen—it felt like fate.

He stole a glance at Gwen, and his heart pounded.

Although he was still young, Harry's privileged upbringing had made him more mature than most his age. He already knew what it meant to like someone.

And there was no doubt—he liked Gwen.

But Gwen had plenty of admirers around her, so he knew he had to make an impression!

He glanced at Luke and shook his head.

Luke and Gwen were just like siblings.

Then there was Peter Parker...

He looked at Peter beside him and saw the boy sneaking glances at Gwen with a shy, timid expression. Harry silently shook his head.

No threat there—Peter wasn't competition.

But then... Loki...

Thinking about Loki's arrogant attitude, the way Gwen had brought him lunch, and that annoyingly handsome face—Harry sensed real danger.

Still, judging by Loki's behavior, he didn't seem interested in Gwen yet, so Harry needed to act fast.

A stream of thoughts raced through Harry's mind as he quietly pumped himself up.

After parting ways with Luke at the classroom door, Gwen, Peter, and Harry returned to class.

"Hmm? Where's Loki?" Gwen asked curiously. "Wasn't he ahead of us?"

"No idea. Didn't see him," Peter replied, shaking his head.

"Maybe he went to the bathroom?" Harry guessed.

Before he could finish speaking, Luke suddenly rushed into the classroom and shouted, "Gwen! Loki's been cornered in the alley behind the cafeteria!"

Without a second thought, Gwen sprinted out the door, with Luke, Harry, and Peter hurrying after her.

Meanwhile, in the alley behind the cafeteria...

Loki stood face-to-face with a group of older boys, his expression still cold and indifferent.

"What do you want?" he asked plainly, frowning slightly.

"What do we want?"

The leader shouted angrily, pointing at Loki. "Why did you mess with my sister?!"

"Your sister?" Loki blinked. "Doesn't ring a bell."

"You damn brat! She confessed to you, and not only did you reject her, you pushed her over!"

Loki was speechless.

What the hell is this nonsense?

"What's that look on your face?!"

The boy—at least half a head taller than Loki—shoved him hard.

Loki's eyes turned cold.

As the Prince of Asgard, he'd never encountered something like this before.

Now that it was happening… it was oddly amusing.

But...

He glanced at the boys surrounding him and sighed inwardly.

Right now, he was just an ordinary kid. If things continued like this, he was probably in for a beating.

So, in an instant, the coldness in his eyes vanished. He looked up at the boy in front of him and flashed a bright, innocent smile.

"Brother, there's been a misunderstanding."

"What?"

The sudden change in Loki's tone stunned the older boy.

Loki sighed. "Your sister really just tripped on her own. She's so cute—how could I bear to push her?"

"Well, of course. My sister is the cutest."

The boy—Masa—nodded.

"Exactly. She's adorable, and I'm just an average guy. I didn't deserve her, so I had to reject her."

Masa nodded again. His gaze toward Loki was clearly softening.

"Sigh." Loki continued, "I need to become someone better to be worthy of her. Then I'll confess to her."

So that's what happened?

Masa stared blankly at Loki, finding him more and more agreeable.

"And besides, I'm a guy. How can I let such a cute girl be the one to confess to me?"

"Right!"

Masa suddenly shouted, "Kid, I like you!"

He turned to his football teammates and said, "It was just a misunderstanding."

Then, looking at Loki with approval, he added, "Good luck, kid! I've got high hopes for you!"

"With your looks, you might even make a decent brother-in-law one day."

Pat! Pat! Pat!

He patted Loki's shoulder with each word.

Just then, Gwen and the others burst onto the scene.

Seeing this, Gwen narrowed her eyes and shouted, "Let go of Loki!"

Masa: "???"

Loki: "?!"

"You big oaf! Aahhh!"

Loyal to a fault, Gwen charged first, and after a beat, Luke and Harry followed her toward Masa's group.

Loki's eyes widened.

You crazy girl!

Before he could say anything, Gwen punched Masa in the gut.

Masa gasped, and the other boys quickly surrounded the trio. Seeing this, Peter spun around and rushed back into the cafeteria.

"You little brat, you're asking for it!"

Masa roared and swung a fist.

But before the blow landed, Loki wrapped his arms around Masa's neck and yanked him to the ground.

"Nice one, Loki!"

Gwen shouted excitedly.

As Masa struggled beneath him, Gwen planted her foot between Masa's legs, striking a defiant pose and yelled, "No one come any closer, or I won't be polite!"

Masa's eyes went wide. "Don't move!" he shouted urgently.

His teammates looked frustrated, while Harry and Luke both shivered.

The situation hit a stalemate.

Just then, Peter returned—with backup.

"Everyone stop!"

A curvy female teacher shouted as she approached. Gwen took a deep breath, blinked once, and when she opened her eyes again, they shimmered with tears. She turned toward the teacher.

The teacher bellowed, "A group of boys bullying a girl?! Have you no shame?!"

Masa and his friends: "???"

Gwen bit her lip and trembled. "Miss…"

The teacher took a deep breath and pointed at the group. "All of you! Come with me—to the principal's office!"

At her words, Masa and his crew turned pale.

Meanwhile, Gwen sneaked her hand behind her back and flashed a V-sign at Loki and the others.

"Don't worry!"

The teacher whispered to Gwen, "Don't be afraid. I'll make sure you get justice."

"Thank you, Miss."

Gwen nodded sincerely.

As the teacher led the sulking Masa and his group ahead, Gwen and the others followed behind. She shot them a look and whispered, "Relax. The principal and I go way back."

Luke and Peter were both stunned.
