"Do you think I'll believe what you're saying?" Mia tried to break free from William.
He finally let her go gently. "You don't have to believe me, but I'll prove it to you... I remember telling you before we 'divorced' that I would prove my feelings for you."
She stepped back blankly. "But I'm sorry, I'm not interested in what you're saying..."
Turning around, she prepared to leave the villa.
She didn't want to be controlled by him and decided to leave the U.S. according to her original plan.
She walked forward without hesitation, vaguely hearing him say, "Attorney Walker, prepare a divorce agreement for me, and gather all the favorable materials for the custody lawsuit. I want to get custody of the child!"
Custody of the child?
She stopped abruptly, turned around, and looked at him in disbelief—
"You want to sue me for custody of the child?" She couldn't imagine it; he was simply a jerk.
"Yes," he said calmly. "If you insist on leaving me, I can only do this."
