Chapter 538 - Sirin: I'm Being Bullied by My Own Comrades!

Sirin had been in a great mood lately. She was back in school again.

This time, no one was calling her a bully or a bad person. In fact, some idiots even thought she should be spoiled, and that if she bullied someone, it was definitely the bullied person's fault.

The thought that simple classmate relationships were gone forever filled Sirin's heart with an inexplicable sorrow.

But the good news was that the girl Sirin used to bully had now become one of her biggest fans.

She was now following Raiden Mei to the school's club activity room, which made the club president feel a bit conflicted.

"Let me tell you about that annoying bastard. He gives all the best things to that brat Kiana, and then just pushes me to go work. How did someone like that become the Chairman of Academy City? It's not fair at all!"

"I've made such huge contributions to humanity, even taking down an evil leader like the Schicksal Overseer. Shouldn't I also get a fiefdom on Earth? At the very least, I should be given a higher position."

"What's the meaning of this now? I'm stuck in this awkward position. I got Otto's voting rights, but I didn't inherit Otto's executive post. Didn't I beat up Otto for nothing?"

"But that Kiana is different. That idiot is just living it up in Academy City every day. When she has nothing to do, she just plays games at home, and she loves to cheat using her powers. As a result, many game companies have gradually withdrawn from the market because their game production capabilities are outdated."

Raiden Mei watched her from the side with a look of disdain, as if she were looking at a child throwing a tantrum.

How could she not know what Sirin was doing now? This girl was just showing off in front of others, boasting about how amazing she was, trying to act like she was more favored than Kiana.

She's just like a little kid.

Yukinoshita Yukino was also feeling conflicted. She felt that this new council member with important voting rights was a bit of a "yuri-baiter." She glanced at Raiden Mei's expression and felt that Mei was like a nanny taking care of her charge.

But only Sawamura Eriri took everything Sirin said at face value. She listened excitedly to the high-level gossip, eager to hear the strange drama of the "royal princesses' internal strife."

Eriri had gotten a new pair of beautiful eyes, a recently released pink-and-blue color-changing type. Besides solving her nearsightedness, it was also because this style of pupil color design was becoming popular in school.

After clearing up the misunderstanding about the bullying with Sirin, Eriri had befriended her and later received help with her Stigma trials.

Eriri had gradually given up on the old methods of drawing and had turned to new artistic creation methods using memory and Stigma power.

"So you've already found a way to deal with her oppression? Sirin, what are you going to do next?" Eriri asked excitedly.

"Um... well..." Sirin suddenly froze. Her gaze wandered, not knowing where to look.

"Actually, you know, this kind of thing definitely needs to be planned out long-term! Although I'm at a disadvantage now, she definitely won't be able to control me after she goes to the moon. I'll follow that bastard to a parallel world to recruit soldiers and horses, then find a chance to fight my way back and seize her stupid position! Think about it, aren't there often stories in history where someone who just works in the rear without any effort is defeated by someone who is brave and resourceful on the front lines?"

Sirin's boasting sounded like it was actually true.

Raiden Mei felt that Kiana had picked up Noldrei's bad habit of being lazy, while Sirin had picked up Noldrei's bad habit of talking nonsense.

She clearly had the White Tower Android network and could access information at any time, but she just wouldn't use it!

She could clearly find out the inside story with a quick search, but she insisted on thinking for herself to prove her abilities.

Only when fighting would she desperately push the potential of the White Tower Android network.

No wonder Noldrei only gave you voting rights and not executive power. He's really a good adoptive father, understanding you sisters through and through.

"Wow, that's amazing! I want to go to a parallel world too. I've only been out of the Far East a few times."

Sawamura Eriri didn't consider how much of what Sirin said was exaggerated. The little girl was still too naive. No wonder she was bullied at school.

Yukinoshita Yukino thought Sawamura Eriri was thinking too much. Even she, someone who had broken through the third stage and touched the fourth stage of the Stigma battlesuit, wasn't qualified to just go to a parallel world.

"Hahaha, is that so?! When I have power in the future, I'll take you all out to see the world! I'll do whatever I want! That'll piss off that idiot Kiana!"

Sirin laughed heartily, as if she could already see Kiana stamping her feet in anger but unable to do anything about it.

Raiden Mei covered her forehead. She felt that if this continued, Sirin would get another "beating" sooner or later.

The last person with this habit was Dr. Tesla.

Rita didn't count; she was special.

For Rita, that thing was more like a relaxing massage, a different kind of enjoyment.

Raiden Mei, who hadn't spoken for a while, finally opened her mouth. "How about you go and discuss with Noldrei about switching places with Kiana? You can watch over the Honkai on the moon, and he can take Kiana to the outside world."

"No way! Absolutely not!" Sirin immediately refuted Mei's nonsense.

"Don't you feel that Noldrei treats her better than you? I bet Kiana is envious of you too. Why don't you two switch? Wouldn't that make everyone happy?"

Raiden Mei's words caught Sirin off guard. She could only stammer a rebuttal, "Why should I switch? I have to take it for myself."

She muttered some nonsense about "taking advantage of favoritism," "being too well taken care of," and "Noldrei being biased," which made Mei find the current scene rather amusing.

Who was being taken care of more? Wasn't it perfectly clear?

Yukinoshita Yukino said meaningfully, "In the past, when the girls in school fought, they would always put on an act. Some were genuinely jealous, some were pretending to be jealous. The purpose of pretending was to show off what they had. I never thought... there would be such an inside story."

As the second child in her family, she was the most sensitive to who was truly favored.

It was obvious: Kiana was being educated as the heir, while Sirin was being spoiled like a cherished daughter.

Mei clicked her tongue and shook her head. "This is truly unsettling. The thought that the important voting rights of Academy City's future are in the hands of such an emotionally immature person makes me feel that Academy City's future is bleak."

Yukinoshita also agreed, "That's right. Who in the council is emotionally immature? It's truly hard to guess!"

Sirin immediately saw red. She said discontentedly, "You're bullying me, aren't you! Who said I was jealous of her!! I'm just not satisfied with his arrangement, that's all. I think I can do better!"

Only then did Sawamura Eriri understand what was going on. She looked at Sirin with embarrassment. Sirin hadn't even realized that she had completely exposed herself.

Why do I feel like she's on the same level as Kiana?

Raiden Mei was beginning to doubt whether these two sisters could properly manage the direction of human civilization in the future.
