Chapter 561 - Tesla: We're the Humans, Kill the Rest!

"It's here!"

Within the observation of the Seed of Sumeru, a strange fluctuation of power appeared near Venus.

Su knew that the entity had arrived in this world. He quickly sent his observations to Academy City.

At the same time, Academy City received the information transmitted by Su and also sensed a spatial fluctuation similar to the one near Sea of Serenity. This meant that some entity had used the Sea of Quanta to travel and descend upon their world.

Tesla was currently unsure if Durandal had fully mastered the power of the Herrscher of Origin, but she knew the newcomer's energy source had already reached Venus.

"Mop-head, you know what? I've always found it strange. According to what Noldrei told me about the power of space-time travel in his world, the energy level required to complete it is actually very high."

"For example, the Herrscher of the Void can use spatial power to distort gravity, and the energy produced in this process is truly terrifying. To travel through space-time, you'd need at least a supernova to complete the process."

"But us? We can do it very easily with Imaginary Energy and Honkai Energy. Is it because Honkai Energy is supposedly of a higher grade?"

"No, that's not it... The Honkai and what I see with this eye are completely different."

The eye on Tesla's forehead glowed faintly. Amidst a light that reflected like a purple gem, Tesla made the following inference.

"The observation results are different, the states in which matter manifests are different, and even the fundamentals related to particle theory are completely different. This means the changes within the rules of the universe are different..."

Nothing exists without a reason; there are only hidden, unseen connections.

Tesla knew very well in her heart that whether it was Honkai Energy or Imaginary Energy, these things had already violated the normal laws of energy in the universe.

"What's the result of the observation?"

Einstein had no time to think about Imaginary Energy or Honkai Energy. She was more concerned with this unknown entity that had been summoned, whether from the Sea of Quanta or a parallel world.

The cause of it all sounded rather comical: this thing was summoned simply because Su had seen it.

Dr. Tesla was currently checking the situation on Venus. "Establishing contact is the first step in summoning it. I don't know if this is the other party's probing, or if it was really summoned over."

"There's an invisible fog shrouding Venus. I don't know what's over there obstructing our investigation. We have enough Honkai fission bombs ready. We might as well just cleanse the surface of Venus."

"There's no one there anyway."

Tesla didn't seem to care what level of opponent was coming. Just send some energy their way to give them a taste, and maybe they'd see some changes.

What a crude and wild method...

Einstein had been worried about unnecessary complications, but seeing Tesla's attitude, it seemed she hadn't considered that at all.

Einstein asked worriedly, "Will there really be no problem after sending the fission bombs? I mean, if there's something obstructing us on Venus, it could probably block the fission bombs from approaching, right?"

"Mop-head, you have a point. But we have a second option..." Tesla pondered for a moment and said, "I can send over a replicated 'Gate.' That thing is a replica of the creation at the center of Sea of Serenity. It can be used as a transport star-gate through the power of the Sea of Quanta. Ordinary objects can't be transported through this star-gate, but sending a few Herrschers or a monster like Noldrei is a small matter."

"Besides, if these beings can survive in a place like the Sea of Quanta, which clearly has no oxygen, what's the big deal about sending a few of them to Venus? It's nothing at all~!"

"I've already confirmed that Durandal's body can operate in the vacuum of space. She can even take a bath in molten iron. Venus is just a few hundred degrees, nothing to be afraid of. As for cosmic rays and the like, they're even less of a problem. It's nothing, it's all just a small matter!"

Tesla was certain that the modification of humans by the Honkai factor had reached a level incomprehensible to ordinary life. The only things that could affect them were Stigmas and Honkai Energy. Having evolved to this extent, if a Herrscher still couldn't swim in molten iron, wouldn't that be a bit too weak?

"Wait, shouldn't we consider this entity's power? What if it has some kind of trump card?"

Einstein felt that everyone was being a bit too complacent. Weren't they worried that the opponent might have some incredible ace up their sleeve?

"Not worried at all. The reason is simple. Look, we've already observed everything we can. The only thing left is to go in and experiment ourselves. Do you think the Will of the Honkai, or the Cocoon of Finality, doesn't have a trump card?"

"But the problem is, do we just not act because we don't know what its trump card is? Impossible. If you don't fight, how will you know if the opponent really has a divine ace?"

"You only know after you fight! If you don't fight, you don't know the opponent's strength. If you want to know their strength and secretly observe them, they'll come over and fight you."

"So the question is, do we fight now? Or later?"

The question Tesla posed was also very simple, stemming from the fact that the opponent had no need for communication. This conclusion was also drawn from the information provided by Su.

Su had only glanced at the opponent a few times, without even saying a word, and the opponent had come after him as if a terrible secret had been discovered. It was obviously a guilty conscience! It had to be eliminated!

Not to mention, this strange power seemed to have very similar characteristics to the Honkai, which was all the more reason not to hold back.

Noldrei was good to the Herrschers on Earth because he considered them to be human. But he showed no mercy to beings that were clearly not normal lifeforms. For example, the lives in the Bubble Universes were insignificant in his eyes.

Even the seemingly emotionally rich androids were classified by Noldrei into the broad category of living organisms simply because they had lost the ability to interactively modify their own characteristics. In his eyes, they had nothing to do with humans.

This 'Sa,' if classified according to Noldrei's dialectics of life, had absolutely no connection to humanity.

It was just a product similar to the Will of the Honkai.
