Chapter 827 - Stelle: Let's Go Kidnap Robin!

Firefly had originally just wanted to ask some simple questions about the dream world.

But she never expected Stelle to launch into such a lengthy dissertation, refuting and critiquing it from the perspective of human cognition and experience.

If you asked Stelle to explain in detail where this content came from, or from what standpoint she was making her arguments, she definitely wouldn't know.

She was even less aware that this was the philosophical thought of Lenin, which Noldrei had encountered back on Earth.

But that didn't stop this philosophy from being used here to critique the theoretical foundation of the dream's reverse control over people: the beauty one perceives is not the beauty of reality.

On the contrary, only when a person is active in reality can they determine what kind of beauty they need and then reproduce it in the world of dreams.

This was a statement that fundamentally represented a different standpoint.

This was the result of Noldrei's line of reasoning.

"If Penacony is truly a place that fulfills the beautiful dreams of consumers across the universe, then why doesn't it fulfill the beauty of destroying order, the beauty of destroying life, the beauty of the Antimatter Legion?"

"Why? Because they can't!"

In the process of relaying the message, Stelle also quickly understood what Noldrei meant.

The so-called "beauty" was not the essence of Penacony. The true essence was The Family's control over Penacony. The beauty of the dream was just a banner to legitimize this control and make it seem natural!

"The prerequisite for a beautiful dream is that everyone in the dream is in a relatively independent, atomized state. Once there is a living, organized system that exists outside the dream, then that dream will inevitably become a lie!"

This time, even Acheron was filled with awe. She had not expected this person, Stelle, to possess such profound philosophical thought.

Look! This is a legendary Trailblazer!

Firefly went from initial confusion to understanding, then to conviction, and finally to admiration.

Her initial anxiety was completely gone.

"I-I see! So that's why you insist on destroying the dream?" Firefly said, enlightened. "Any dream, as long as it's not under one's own control but under the control of others, is a false dream. And once the power over the dream returns to the individual, that person will inevitably, at some point, recognize the falsehood of the dream and wake up from their own dream."

"So, a dream can only exist in two states: a real dream that I control and will inevitably wake up from, or a false, hallucinatory dream controlled by others that keeps me asleep."

"I get it! We're not actually killing people; we're killing falsehood!"

Firefly now understood the driving force behind Stelle's actions.

As expected of a Nameless Trailblazer. Her thinking is so advanced and avant-garde!

Acheron didn't quite grasp the underlying principles, but she generally understood what was going on.

"You mean to say," Acheron asked with a solemn expression, "you believe that the Clockmaker who pioneered the dream world did not intend to create a collective dream to satisfy a certain family or organization, but to create a real-world device, or some kind of power apparatus, that would allow anyone to freely organize their own dreams?"

Acheron looked at Stelle. "Is that what you mean?"

Stelle stared at Acheron in shock. She hadn't expected Acheron's mind to stretch that far.

She figured she hadn't even fully understood what Noldrei had said. Stelle just wanted to show off a bit and give her slaughter-fest some theoretical backing.

And now, someone understood how to deal with Penacony better than she did.

Stelle nodded gravely. "Yes, that's right! That's exactly what I mean! The dream created by the Clockmaker was created by the Clockmaker. The dream controlled by The Family is controlled by The Family. We have to find a way to dismantle them. And slaughtering people in the dream is the simplest and most direct way to do that."

After a simple "understanding" and "exchange," everyone unanimously agreed that Stelle's explanation was very clear. Not only could it crack the fishing expedition set up by The Family, but it could also allow more people to get what they wanted from Penacony.

As for what would happen to Penacony after it lost the ability to control the dream, what did that have to do with the Trailblazers? Hadn't Penacony brought this upon itself?

If they hadn't baited everyone to come here to solve a mystery, how could this have happened? Of course, the person who started the fishing should be held responsible.

Stelle's explanation received everyone's unanimous approval. Now, they were more confident in using the Clockwork Trick to cause trouble for Penacony.

The next thing to do was to let everyone know the secret of the Clockmaker's Legacy.

Stelle, along with Acheron and Firefly, squatted on the curb of a Penacony street and began to discuss who they should get to publicize the secret of the Clockmaker's Legacy.

"What should we do? Is there any good way to make the secret of the Clockmaker public?"

Firefly also looked troubled. She really didn't know how to publicize the Clockmaker's Legacy. Besides, the three of them had no channels to do such a thing in Penacony. To stir up some trouble, they had to borrow The Family's hands.

Acheron thought for a long time. "Have you asked your companions about similar situations? Or perhaps, by using the name of a certain faction, we can get more people to join in the search for the legacy, which will in turn make more people take the initiative to understand the inner workings of Penacony."

Stelle didn't have that much face, nor did she have many friends who could do such things.

To find someone with power and influence in Penacony, they would definitely need someone from The Family...

"Huh? I just thought of someone."

A flash of inspiration crossed Stelle's mind.

She had indeed thought of someone—someone with ability and status in The Family, someone they could even use.

"Acheron, Firefly, are you confident you can control someone? I mean, control a cosmic-level superstar. Isn't she attending the festival in Penacony? We'll kidnap her and make her work for us, using her influence to spread what we want."

"Wouldn't that mean we can use her to announce what we know about the Clockmaker's Legacy?"

Firefly never thought Stelle could actually find such a person. She stared at Stelle in shock, as if she were looking at a master criminal.

[Stelle, you're a genius! You were born for this line of work!]

Even Noldrei couldn't help but praise Stelle's associative thinking. That fluctuating IQ could really pinpoint the most crucial things.

"Alright! We have our next target! When Robin is alone, we'll kidnap her!"

Stelle was now bursting with confidence!

With a wave of her hand, she declared that Grand Theft Auto: Penacony was about to premiere!
