Chapter 114 - Reminiscing the past

A middle-aged man, wearing a straw-hat, dragged a carriage on a narrow path, passing the rural households at a relatively fast speed. Likewise, dust wafted through the air causing the customer to cough several times. Nonetheless, the man didn't mind —the customer doesn't care much about his health, he said once.

Inside, Shinji sat, his back resting on the wooden walls of the carriage, his gaze fixed on the blood stains on his hands.

—This sickness.

He is slightly grateful that the sickness acted up while he was fighting the Academy Principal, leading the old man to misunderstand the situation. However, he is pissed.

'If I had used more Fire based Tama, I would have won; the old man would have been forced to rank me close to him.'

—Higher ranking means seeing his girlfriend more often!
