Chapter 249 - Crystal: I’m a Princess, I Won’t Be Tempted by a Pretty Face!

However, when she arrived at the seaside villa, she was disappointed.

The two Inhumans Ye Li mentioned were merely two pretty girls around her age — not royal family members, but likely Inhumans who had awakened on Earth.

And...

Princess Crystal glanced around at Alita, Matilda, and the others who were laughing and playing, and quietly thought: 'Why are they all girls here... and wearing so little…'

"Eh? Big brother brought Sister Silvija back, but who's that with them?"

Matilda looked at Ye Li and his party of three walking toward them, a bit confused.

Alita hugged her silver arm, confident as she declared, "Must be a new mommy again! Daddy finds mommies so fast."

On the outdoor terrace—

"Come on, you two get acquainted."

Ye Li sat down, pulling Rachel by the hand, and introduced her to the princess seated across the table.

"This is Rachel Rosalind Charlotte, a recently awakened Inhuman who's currently working as my personal maid.

And this is Crystal, from the moon — a royal princess from the city of Attilan, of the Inhuman race."

"Princess?"

Rachel blinked her bright cat-like eyes, slightly surprised as she looked at Crystal. "Should I bow or something?"

Crystal smiled and said, "You can call me by my full name too — Crystalia Amaquelin, if you like."

Then, she looked at Ye Li again and asked, "There was another Inhuman just now. I saw her earlier. Aren't you going to introduce her to me?"

"Skye?"

Ye Li raised an eyebrow and chuckled meaningfully. "She's a bit tired and has gone back to her room to rest. I'll introduce you later."

"Mm."

Crystalia nodded lightly, not pressing further about Skye, but her thoughts turned toward her current predicament — she had nowhere to go.

'Can't exactly wander around on some deserted island forever…'

Her eyes subtly scanned Ye Li's luxurious villa, and she felt a little tempted: 'I wonder if he'd be willing to take me in…'

"What's wrong, Princess Amaquelin? Hungry or thirsty?"

Seeing the princess look like she wanted something, Rachel poured her a cup of juice and handed it over. "Try this — it's juice from white pineapples, a local Hawaiian specialty."

"Thank you…"

Crystalia took the cup, hesitated a little, then softly spoke to Ye Li, embarrassed, "Mr. Ye, I don't have a place to stay right now. Could I... maybe stay here with you for a while?"

The moment she finished, the princess lowered her head shyly. As a sheltered girl who'd never had much contact with men, asking to live in a man's house was utterly mortifying.

In fact, as soon as she said it, she slightly regretted it.

If he rejected her, wouldn't that be completely humiliating? She'd bring shame to the royal Inhuman family!

Crystalia silently prayed: Please let him say yes.

"Oh?"

Ye Li was a little surprised too.

A homeless young girl taking the initiative to ask to live together — and a princess at that… He didn't expect this kind of storybook fantasy situation to happen to him.

As he looked at this blushing royal beauty, he couldn't help but think of some very questionable things. Crystalia's looks were refined and alluring — hard not to be tempted.

Crystalia Amaquelin noticed the way Ye Li's gaze roamed openly along her curves and shivered. Her mind flashed with images of him and Silvija tangled together on the beach, making her face burn red. Her legs, wrapped in tight pants, unconsciously rubbed and shifted a little...

'Is he thinking… I'll do that kind of thing with him too? No way… That's way too fast… We only just met… Even Medusa and Black Bolt were only engaged and still just held hands. As a princess, I can't be that casual... At the very least… we need to spend some time getting to know each other first…'

Her thoughts spiraled in every direction, terrified Ye Li might suggest something indecent on the spot.

And if he did, should she refuse? Or…

'Wait no — there's no "or"! I'd definitely say no!'

In Crystalia's mind, a little angel was shouting at her: Do not be swayed by a handsome man!

"No problem. I'll have Rachel take you to pick a room in a bit."

While she was tangled up in anxious thoughts, Ye Li casually agreed.

"Huh? That's it?"

Crystalia looked up and cautiously asked, "There aren't any conditions?"

"It's just letting a pretty girl crash here for the night. What conditions would I need?"

Ye Li smiled playfully. "Or are you hoping I'll name some conditions?"

"No… no!"

The princess shook her head furiously, blurting out, "I wasn't thinking about anything like that!"

Ye Li: "..."

Looks like this one's not the sharpest tool in the shed either…

'Not being too smart has its perks. Easier to talk her into stuff...'
