Chapter 276 - MCSDB Chapter 179 Constructing the System Part 1

"Boom! Boom!"

Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces.

Over the course of the next year, from the heavens above, golden rays of light continuously descended. Within the furnace, one after another, the Gold Sacred Cloths were forged.

The Twelve Temples of the Zodiac sparkled with brilliant radiance at this moment.

The stars resonated in response.

Beneath the skies of Sanctuary, the twelve Gold Sacred Cloths shone with unprecedented brilliance, and a majestic Cosmo spread out, even tinting the Sanctuary with a touch of gold in that instant.

"It succeeded! It's really possible!"

Looking at the twelve Gold Sacred Cloths floating mid-air, Jamil's expression was nothing but thrilled and exhilarated.

At this moment, he could clearly feel that these twelve Cloths were entirely different from any Cloths he had created before. The Cosmo they contained made even him feel a chill in his heart.

Not to mention, these twelve Cloths all possessed a will of their own.

Once someone could master these twelve Gold Sacred Cloths, the power that could be unleashed by them would be unimaginable.

To Jamil, this was without a doubt a new path in the art of forging.

And just as he was lost in excitement...

The Aries Sacred Gold Cloth suddenly erupted with a blinding light, and its Cosmo began to resonate.

"This is?" Jamil froze for a moment and instinctively turned his head.

Immediately, he saw his son. At that moment, his son's Cosmo had also begun to surge, and faintly, it began to resonate with the Aries Gold Cloth.

"Buzz!"

"Bang, Bang Bang!"

Jamil's expression was one of shock, as the Aries Cloth rapidly disassembled and, in an instant, flew toward Melchaba, fusing onto him.

Within moments, Melchaba was clad in the Aries Sacred Gold Cloth.

And his Cosmo skyrocketed in that instant, reaching the peak of the Seventh Sense!

An overwhelming Cosmo spread out across the surroundings.

"So this is the new Sacred Cloth? So powerful!" He muttered to himself as Melchaba opened his eyes, his expression filled with excitement.

At this moment, he could clearly feel how greatly the Cloth was amplifying his abilities. He could even faintly sense himself touching a higher realm.

As if he had thought of something, Melchaba quickly looked toward the sky, where Jiang Chen was still floating with his eyes closed. Years had passed, and yet, nothing seemed to disturb him.

"Father!" Melchaba couldn't help but call out, turning his gaze toward Jamil.

"Comprehend it well. This Cloth may be enough for you to take another step forward." Jamil paused for a moment before speaking softly.

"Thank you, Father!" Hearing Jamil's words, Melchaba's expression brightened as he quickly expressed his gratitude.

Jamil nodded lightly, saying no more.

Instead, he turned his gaze back to the twelve Gold Sacred Cloths, then to the stars now twinkling in the sky.

With the forging of these twelve Gold Cloths, a new realization began to emerge for the crafting of Cloths from here onward.

"Perhaps... It's possible to construct an entire complete system of Sacred Cloths." Murmuring to himself, Jamil fell into deep contemplation.

Of course, Jiang Chen had no idea what was happening at that moment. So he couldn't possibly know that Jamil was already beginning to envision all 88 Sacred Cloths of Sanctuary.

As for Jiang Chen, he was still lost within the void. He observed stars, galaxies, suns, and planets forming endlessly. Inside him, comprehension continued to unfold. His Cosmo was growing rapidly. Long ago, it had already broken through to the peak of the Sixth Sense, just one step away from the Seventh Sense.

However, it was clear that breaking through to the Seventh Sense was not easy.

In later generations, the Seventh Sense would become a near-insurmountable barrier; most Saints would never be able to cross it. It was not just the Bronze and Silver Saints; even among the Gold Saints, there were some who never reached it.

In the Mythical Era, the Seventh Sense wasn't considered a bottleneck. But that was only true for those of the Mythical Era, not for Jiang Chen.

Especially since Jiang Chen's Cosmo spanned the entire galaxy, the difficulty of breaking through to the Seventh Sense was even greater than those in the future.

"Seventh Sense" refers to a heightened perception of time, a psychological sense of time. It allows one's consciousness to simulate and analyze the future based on memories of the past.

It is not to be confused with the "Seventh Consciousness" (Manas-vijñāna) of Yogācāra Buddhism, which refers to ego-clinging. While that consciousness does include a perception of past, present, and future, it is rooted in the delusion of 'self.'

"No, that's not right. First, one must comprehend the mechanism of Cosmo; only then can the Seventh Sense be born. It's not the other way around; you don't achieve the ultimate Cosmo just by understanding the Seventh Sense."

Thoughts flowed through his mind, ideas weaving together from seemingly everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

Within him, the Twelve Temples of the Zodiac were gradually approaching completion.

No, it was not just the Twelve Zodiac Temples; there was also the Ophiuchus Temple, the Serpent-Bearer, positioned above them all.

But clearly, there were only thirteen constellations for now. Beyond these thirteen, the other constellations still appeared dim and inactive.

Gazing across the entire galaxy, Jiang Chen couldn't help but fall into deep contemplation.

Cosmo originates from the heart, the mind, the soul, life itself, and one's spiritual capacity. When perfected to a certain level, one can reach the Sixth Sense. But to go further, one must attain the ultimate Cosmo.

In other words, further perfection.

Now, if he wished to step into the realm of the Seventh Sense...

Jiang Chen had two ideas.

The first was to perfect his entire galaxy; once that was achieved, he would naturally reach the Seventh Sense, and perhaps not just that. Jiang Chen suspected he might even reach the realm of the Omega-level Saints.

Without question, this path was achievable. But it was also clearly extremely difficult.

The power of the entire galaxy far exceeded the scope of Athena's 88 constellations. It encompassed the entire starry sky, the vast known universe. As mentioned before, forget a few years, even a thousand years might not be enough to complete that.

The second method was far more practical: Construct a self-contained system using the Twelve Zodiac Constellations plus Ophiuchus.

As long as this smaller system could be completed, the Seventh Sense would naturally emerge.

After all, if one constellation can produce a Saint capable of reaching the Seventh Sense, then there's no reason why thirteen constellations couldn't achieve the same.

The only issue is: once this shortcut is taken, it may become more difficult to complete the rest of the galaxy afterward.

"Hoo..."

Letting out a deep breath, Jiang Chen made his decision.
