The starry sea spread across the space, and at that moment, Jiang Chen's figure seemed to exist amidst the cosmic galaxy itself. Surrounding him were countless orbiting stars, and his consciousness had fully immersed in this stellar realm.
Time quietly flowed by.
Jiang Chen remained within the sea of stars.
As more and more stars connected and resonated with each other, the Cosmo within his body began to continuously grow. Originally, his Cosmo only resonated with the thirteen constellations. But now, it was visibly expanding at an astonishing speed.
Days come and west and soon, seven days passed in the blink of an eye.
For those seven days, the area where Jiang Chen resided had completely transformed into a galactic sea.
Until the eighth day, when the morning sunlight poured in…
As a new day arrived, the gathering sea of stars slowly faded away. Within his room, Jiang Chen gently opened his eyes.
"It really works…" He whispered, and a trace of excitement could be seen on his face.
If he had merely speculated before, now Jiang Chen was absolutely certain, this power of connecting with constellations could indeed help him perfect his own Cosmo.
Just like now, even though only seven days had passed, a fourteenth constellation had already emerged within his body, one of the 24 Silver Cloth Constellations.
At this pace, it was highly likely that, in just half a year, he could complete the full set of 24 Silver Constellations. Even considering the fact that he wouldn't be in seclusion all the time in the future…
At most, it would take him two to three years to finish them.
Then, with the addition of the 48 Bronze Cloth Constellations and 4 Special Constellations, it likely wouldn't take more than 50 years total.
If all went well, he would be able to fully complete the entire system during this Login cycle.
Just imagining the completion of all 88 Athens Constellations made Jiang Chen feel an uncontrollable surge of excitement. Even though the 88 constellations weren't a true complete Universe, as Jamil had said, they already formed a complete internal Cosmo cycle,
A structure that brought him within reach of the power known as Omega.
"Whew…"
He slowly let out a deep breath, and his aura gradually calmed down.
Then, Jiang Chen stepped out of the room.
"Lord Asclepius!"
"Asclepius!"
"Asclepius!"
As soon as Jiang Chen exited, the Saints along the path all greeted him respectfully. Over the course of twenty years, Jiang Chen's reputation had spread to every corner of Sanctuary.
And he had earned the love and admiration of all the Saints there.
After all, even those who had never been injured couldn't guarantee they'd never be hurt in the future. Not to mention, over the past two decades, countless Saints had been saved or healed by Jiang Chen.
At this point, there were very few people in Sanctuary who hadn't received his help.
As Jiang Chen walked through Sanctuary, he not only guided several Saints in their training, but also treated wounded ones from recent battles.
Until nightfall arrived…
Only then did Jiang Chen return to his home.
There, he resumed his training.
Buzz…
The Star Map lit up again, and in the next instant, an endless sea of stars burst forth as Jiang Chen once again entered that void-like space.
Time slipped by silently.
This time, he didn't train for days on end, but instead awoke the next morning, continuing his usual daily routine.
And so, time passed quietly in this rhythm.
In the blink of an eye, another twenty years had gone by.
During those two decades, Jiang Chen had fully immersed himself in perfecting his Cosmo and now, after twenty years of effort, the 88 galaxies within his body were nearly fully complete.
This progress was even faster than he had originally anticipated.
And the reason for this was simple,
On one hand, the war between Poseidon, the Sea God, and Athena had entered a lull, giving Jiang Chen more opportunities to cultivate.
On the other hand, the Saints of Sanctuary had gradually become complete.
With all 88 Saints nearly in place now, the resonance between the Sacred Cloths and the Star Map allowed Jiang Chen's training speed within Sanctuary to increase even further. and so, in just twenty short years, only one constellation remained.
"Pegasus?" Jiang Chen murmured softly, his gaze drawn toward the void space.
In that empty stellar realm, there was only one blank spot remaining.
It was, Pegasus.
Unlike the other constellations, already resonating and sparkling with starlight, Pegasus had yet to shine.
Pegasus, no, now more properly called Flying Horse, held a unique status even in this Mythical Era. It was the 7th largest constellation in the entire sky, often seen on autumn nights with four bright stars forming the shape of a large square, known as the "Great Square of Pegasus-Andromeda."
The star at the northeast corner of the square was Alpha Andromedae, the brightest star in the Andromeda constellation.
This massive starfield spanned nearly half the sky, and its scope wasn't inferior even to the Ophiuchus constellation.
Jiang Chen, of course, was extremely familiar with it, and fully understood its uniqueness. So when it came down to this last constellation, he wasn't surprised at all.
If anything could be called truly special, it was Pegasus, as not only had it always followed Athena since the Mythical Era, but more importantly, it was the main protagonist constellation of the entire Saint Seiya world.
Whether in LC, SS, Omega, or even other timelines, Pegasus had always been the undisputed lead role.
With such a constellation, its uniqueness was beyond question.
Jiang Chen's gaze locked firmly onto the last unlit constellation in the void.
His thoughts began to stir and swirl.
"Maybe… I can do it." Muttering to himself, a thought flashed through his mind.
Without hesitation, Jiang Chen acted, he split off a portion of his spiritual energy, and immediately projected it into the void.
Buzz!
As the spiritual energy entered the void, the previously dark area began to light up, star by star.
Soon, the Pegasus Constellation was fully linked.
At the same time, golden brilliance gathered around Jiang Chen, and a new figure slowly emerged from the light.
"What is this…?" Jiang Chen looked at his own state, then instinctively glanced toward the familiar figure in the room, and his expression turned curious. At that moment, it felt as though his current self had separated from the Login avatar and become his true body.
Yet he could still faintly feel a connection to the new form as well. It was a bizarre sensation, as if his consciousness now resided in two bodies.
Even more oddly, even if his awareness focused on one, the other still retained independent consciousness.
