Chapter 308 - MCSDB Chapter 196 First Contact Part 1

However, just as no one was watching, the Earth Authority quietly began to gather.

Strands of power were gradually interweaving and converging…

The brilliance of the Sanctuary, as time passed, seemed to shine brighter and brighter. And to Jiang Chen, it indeed felt like the Sanctuary had become busier ever since that day.

Amid the bustle, Jiang Chen also noticed that cultivation within the Sanctuary seemed to flow more smoothly than before. The Cosmo within his body was rapidly advancing, almost at a speed visible to the naked eye.

"Quick, hurry!"

"Asclepius!"

"Arudi has been seriously injured!"

"Asclepius!"

Cries rang out across the Sanctuary as Jiang Chen rushed through its every corner, continuously treating the severely wounded Saints who had just survived the brutal Holy Wars. Even without using the power of time, under the enhancement of his Ophiuchus Staff, most Saint injuries within the Sanctuary were no longer much of a problem.

And if something truly couldn't be healed normally, Jiang Chen would invoke the power of time to heal them instantly.

Compared to before, he now used the power of time with far less hesitation.

Previously, he had been concerned about Athena's gaze and refrained from using time powers extensively. But after Athena's words, those concerns were completely lifted.

And if something still couldn't be resolved, he would transform into a Super Saiyan God to fix it. Under such conditions, his healing ability advanced dramatically in a short time, and in the eyes of others, his skills had made another massive breakthrough.

As a result, the reverence of all Saints in the Sanctuary toward him once again rose to a new level.

And like that, time passed silently.

In the blink of an eye, ten years had passed.

In those ten years, the Sanctuary continued to expand along with the growing number of Saints, growing stronger and stronger.

The name of the Goddess Athena also began to resound across the world.

Meanwhile, the entire Earth began to fall into a state of tension, as the Olympian Pantheon expanded its reach.

In the beginning, the clash between Poseidon, Hades, and Zeus, along with their respective divine authorities, was something most other gods observed from the sidelines.

Some even hoped they would tear each other apart.

After all, with three generations of pantheons having risen and fallen, Olympus had now become the most powerful faction among all divine systems.

So seeing the three most powerful Olympian gods fight each other was entertaining to the others.

But none of them had expected that as time went on, they too would be dragged into the conflict.

Weaker pantheons began to fall and vanish altogether.

At first, it didn't seem like a big deal as no one really cared about minor pantheons being wiped out. But as time went on, not only small pantheons, but even powerful divine systems were pulled into the war.

Some first-tier gods, and even Sovereign-level beings, began to fall. This caused even the most powerful pantheons to start panicking.

One by one, they began joining the conflict.

And with their entry, the chaos among the gods escalated even further. Amid the spreading war, Olympus had already occupied over half of the Earth.

As King Zeus, Poseidon the Sea God, and Hades the King of the Underworld began making their moves, various divine pantheons were gradually drawn into the conflict. Yet, without anyone noticing, the Olympian Pantheon's territorial influence over the Earth had expanded tremendously.

Together, the three of them began to occupy more than half the landmass of the Earth.

What was even more terrifying were the authorities (divine domains) they possessed.

King Zeus of Olympus, having inherited the Sky Authority from his father Cronos and continuing to collect fragments of it over time, had now come to possess more than half of all the Sky Authority. This alone placed Zeus among the most powerful deities across all pantheons.

Because of this growing influence, the other gods were forced to assist Hades and Poseidon, and even Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom, to contain Zeus.

But the unintended consequence of this support was:

The Ocean Authority and the Death Authority began to converge toward Hades and Poseidon.

This convergence was unprecedented, something no one had imagined possible.

After all, ever since the four primordial authorities (Sky, Ocean, Death, Earth) had fragmented, no god had been able to fully control them again.

Even for the Kings of powerful pantheons, grasping even a portion of one was an incredible challenge.

Yet now, without warning, such a grand unification was quietly taking place,

And none of the other gods were the wiser. Their sole focus and vigilance remained on Zeus alone. After all, in the past, even a minor display of Zeus's power had left entire pantheons in fear.

Especially now that Zeus had nearly fully mastered the laws of the sky.

That authority alone, Sky, was one of the four primal forces of the world.

It once belonged to Uranus, the former Supreme God of the Heavens. Even as spiritual gods themselves, many now felt a deep, instinctive dread toward Zeus.

Their only solution?

To rely on Poseidon and Hades to restrain any catastrophic outburst from Zeus.

But amidst their efforts… No one noticed that several "depth charges" had already been planted quietly within their ranks.

The convergence of the Four Authorities was not limited to the Sky.

With their unintentional assistance, the Death Authority and Ocean Authority had also begun quietly merging. Even the Earth Authority, long forgotten, was being drawn together.

This convergence of powers was nothing short of a harbinger of apocalyptic destruction.

And indeed, it soon erupted. As the Olympian Pantheon expanded to its limit, they suddenly launched a full-scale assault on surrounding divine systems.

The first to act was Zeus.

At first, this didn't seem unexpected. After all, many pantheons had already anticipated that Zeus would initiate war. But what they hadn't expected was that Hades and Poseidon would join him directly. And not to oppose Zeus, as they'd assumed, but to ally with him.

Together, the three launched a coordinated invasion on all surrounding divine pantheons.

"BOOM!! RUMBLE!!"

Massive explosions rang out. Sea water surged, and a terrifying aura engulfed the entire sky.

The Ocean Authority blanketed the surrounding region completely. It sealed off an entire divine system with overwhelming pressure.

"Poseidon, what do you think you're doing?!" An angry roar echoed out.

From a sacred mountain engulfed by surging waves, a terrifying godly presence soared into the air. A mighty Spiritual God aura spread in all directions, and countless divine wills attempted to suppress the power of the Ocean Authority.

But, it was all in vain.

A powerful aura swept forth, almost overwhelming his divine will in an instant.

"What are you doing? Haven't you seen it clearly by now?" Poseidon, the Sea God, chuckled lightly. As he raised his right hand, countless streams of water gathered, and the Trident of the Sea God appeared in his grasp.

His figure stepped toward the Sacred Mountain, and the intense aura emanating from him completely sealed off the space in the area.

"Damn it! You… You're all in this together! King Zeus, Sea God Poseidon, King of Hell Hades…"

Suddenly, the god whose body had been suppressed by the power of the Ocean Authority came to a realization, his pupils dilated in shock and disbelief.
