"Yes. Please wait a moment, Lord Beerus." Jiang Chen nodded once. In the next instant, his silhouette vanished from the spot.
Moments later…
Jiang Chen's silhouette reappeared, and this time, standing beside him was another figure.
The newcomer looked almost identical to Son Goku, the only difference was the distinct cross-shaped scar on his face.
"Dad!"
Raditz froze for a moment as he stared at the sudden arrival.
"Raditz… Kakarrot!"
Bardock quickly noticed Raditz and Goku as well, and a smile spread across his face as he instinctively greeted them.
But when he called out Kakarrot's name, Bardock suddenly stopped short.
Because before him now stood two Kakarrots. One was a grown Kakarrot, and the other… a smaller Kakarrot.
At first, Bardock thought the smaller one might be Kakarrot's other son, but he quickly realized that wasn't the case, the boy's aura was exactly the same as Kakarrot's.
"Bardock Ojisan, this is another version of Kakarrot from a different world. Due to… certain circumstances, he's been turned into a kid." Seeing Bardock's confusion, Jiang Chen chuckled softly and explained.
"Another world's Kakarrot?" Bardock blinked in surprise, clearly taken aback.
"Bardock?" GT Vegeta's expression shifted as his gaze landed on Bardock, surprise flickering in his eyes.
"Dad?" GT Goku looked just as bewildered.
"Alright, enough chatter! Beerus, everyone's here. Let's get started! This time, I'm going to beat you for sure!" Champa's impatient voice rang out, tinged with irritation.
"Hmph! Fatty, you're not winning this time either!" Beerus snorted coldly.
As the two Gods of Destruction traded barbs, the tournament officially began.
The rules were announced: just like the World Martial Arts Tournament, killing was strictly forbidden, and falling out of the ring meant defeat.
The fighters from Universe 6 all stepped forward.
They were: Hit, Kefla, Kale, Cabba, Saonel, Pirina, Botamo, Frost, and a clearly unfamiliar Saiyan who appeared to be older than Kefla, Kale, and Cabba.
Jiang Chen's eyes narrowed as he studied the stranger. For some reason, an unsettling aura of danger radiated from this Saiyan.
That shouldn't be possible… and yet, there it was, a presence so threatening that even Jiang Chen felt wary.
"Who is that…?" He muttered to himself, visibly puzzled.
There was no record of this warrior in his memory.
In the original Universe 6 vs. Universe 7 tournament, Universe 6's lineup was Hit, Cabba, Frost, Magetta, and Botamo.
In the Tournament of Power, Universe 6's fighters were Hit, Kefla, Kale, Caulifla, Cabba, Saonel, Pirina, Botamo, Magetta, and Dr. Rota.
But this Saiyan… had never appeared in any of those battles.
"Mr. Whis, do you know who that Saiyan is? There's something strange about his aura…" Jiang Chen finally walked over to Whis, curiosity flickering in his eyes as he asked.
"That Saiyan? Let me take a look."
The Angel tilted his head slightly, a trace of puzzlement in his expression. He raised his staff, and a series of glowing images appeared before his eyes.
"That is Cumber, the Evil Saiyan of Universe 6," Whis said with a faint smile.
Sensing Jiang Chen's confusion, Whis elaborated further.
"Aspara San, the Saiyans of Universe 6 are different from those in Universe 7. They are a naturally peace-loving race, dedicated to maintaining order and protecting their universe."
"But Cumber is… unique. He was born inherently evil. The Saiyans of Universe 6 exiled him long ago, assuming he would perish. Yet, against all odds, he survived, and somehow, Lord Champa managed to track him down."
Whis's voice carried a note of mild astonishment.
"Cumber…"
The name made Jiang Chen pause as his mind immediately leapt to the image of a certain fearsome figure from Dragon Ball Heroes.
Cumber, one of the major characters in the Dragon Ball Heroes game and its spin-off Prison Planet Saga, was an immensely powerful Saiyan, once a king of Saiyans in another timeline.
He believed that evil was the true essence and pride of Saiyans, and was rumored to have once battled a Super Saiyan God. His sensitivity to Godly Ki was unparalleled, and his own energy could drive others into a berserk, corrupted state.
But Jiang Chen quickly shook his head. Clearly, this was not that same Cumber.
After all, the Cumber from Heroes was the king of Saiyans from a different time and space, most likely from Universe 7. Universe 7 Saiyans were born with tails, while those of Universe 6 were not.
And sure enough, this Cumber bore no tail.
"Indeed, his strength is impressive," Whis continued with a calm smile. "I can sense tremendous power from him. He may even be able to defeat the Goku of this world."
"Is that so?" Jiang Chen chuckled softly, withdrawing his gaze.
The sense of danger he felt wasn't overwhelming; it was enough to make him take note, but nothing more.
With that, he dismissed the matter entirely. As the two spoke, the first match had already begun.
Universe 6's first fighter was chosen: Botamo.
He resembled a large, rotund, yellow bear with smooth, elastic skin. He wore a red tank top, sports wristbands, and red boots. His nose was brown, and his stubby tail twitched lazily.
Just like in the original story, Botamo possessed a rubber-like body that rendered him immune to physical attacks.
The moment he stepped onto the stage, he radiated arrogance and confidence.
From Universe 7, their fighter was… Goten.
This Goten was much stronger than the version from the original timeline. Perhaps the combination of Bulma and Goku's genetics had created a more refined warrior.
Both this world's purple-haired Gohan and purple-haired Goten were far stronger than their canon counterparts.
In the original story, Goten had already mastered the Super Saiyan transformation by the age of six. In this timeline, he had achieved Super Saiyan form even earlier, and his base power was significantly higher.
Botamo's smug expression didn't last long.
With a single punch, Goten sent the massive fighter flying backward.
Botamo's body absorbed the blow without injury, thanks to his unique physiology, but the sheer overwhelming power behind that strike sent shockwaves through Universe 6's team.
Especially their Saiyans.
Kefla, Kale, and Cabba all froze, eyes wide and filled with disbelief.
"S-So strong!"
"He's just a kid! How is this possible?!"
"Unbelievable!"
The three Saiyans covered their mouths in shock.
Even though their own base power levels were extraordinary, they couldn't deny that the boy's strength shook them to their core.
(In the original story, Goten and Trunks's power was terrifyingly high, though overshadowed by Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan's overwhelming strength. In the Martial Arts Tournament, Goten and Trunks nearly overwhelmed Android 18, who was clearly struggling. Keep in mind, Android 18 could easily crush a Super Saiyan 1, and androids do not suffer from power loss. That fact alone speaks volumes about the boys' true potential.)
