Everyone stared in shock at the scene before them, their eyes wide with disbelief. On Champa's side, an excited cheer finally broke out, after suffering from a string of losses, they had finally secured a victory.

"Raditz is unconscious. Hit wins!" The referee's announcement rang out as Son Gohan immediately leapt down to the arena, quickly feeding his uncle a Senzu Bean.

Under the miraculous effects of the Senzu Bean, Raditz regained consciousness in no time.

"I… I lost!" Raditz was still dazed as he muttered to himself. He had an even greater power he hadn't unleashed, yet he'd been defeated so easily.

"Raditz, underestimating your enemy at any time is a fatal mistake any fighter shouldn't make." Jiang Chen's calm voice brought Raditz's wandering thoughts back to reality.

"I understand!" Raditz took a deep breath and gave a small nod, his face burning with shame.

He had thought that with his Super Saiyan 2 form, it would be more than enough to settle things easily, yet in the end, he was the one who had been "settled."

"So strong! Master… was defeated just like that!" Cabba's voice trembled with disbelief.

"Tch!" Caulifla couldn't help but scoff aloud, though the turmoil in her heart was known only to herself.

Super Saiyan Form, they regarded this power up as nearly invincible and this same power had just been crushed so effortlessly.

"Next match, Universe 7!" The referee's voice echoed from the high platform.

But before his words could fully fall, two figures shot forward from Universe 7's side, landing on the arena in a blur.

Whoosh!

Son Goku was the first to touch down.

"Kakarrot!" Vegeta's expression twisted in irritation as he roared.

"Sorry, Vegeta, but let me handle this one!" Goku grinned sheepishly as he spoke and he even gave Vegeta a teasing wink, which only made the Saiyan prince grit his teeth harder.

"You bastard!" Vegeta growled, barely restraining his anger.

"I'll take the next match!" Goku's excitement was palpable, his gaze locking onto Hit.

That last display of power from Hit had made Goku's blood boil with anticipation. The referee hesitated, glancing toward the two Gods of Destruction.

"Go ahead! Doesn't matter who fights him. Hit, crush him for me," Champa said with a gleam of excitement.

"You are not my opponent. Step down." Hit's calm voice rang out as his eyes swept toward the approaching fighters.

"You're strong… but unless we fight, how will we know if I'm your opponent or not?" Goku's aura flared instantly, his body trembling with eagerness as he replied.

BOOM!

Golden flames of ki exploded around him as he ascended straight into the Super Saiyan form.

"Another Super Saiyan?" Hit's expression remained calm, as he remained entirely unshaken with this reveal.

"I'm not just any Super Saiyan!"

BOOM!

Lightning crackled as his hair spiked higher, his aura surging even further.

"This is Super Saiyan 2!"

But… even this won't be enough to match you. So let's push past even the limits of a Super Saiyan!

"Haaaah!!!"

Goku bent his body low, unleashing a majestic aura that shook the arena.

His hair lengthened rapidly, his eyebrows vanished, and his brow ridge jutted out while an overwhelming, violent Ki storm erupted, engulfing the entire arena.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. This is the Super Saiyan who has surpassed even the limits of any Super Saiyan!"

"Super Saiyan 3!"

Son Goku spoke confidently.

"So elaborate…" Hit's voice remained calm, his expression unshaken.

Yet at this moment, the Saiyans from the Sixth Universe couldn't hide their astonishment and their eyes began to shine brightly once more.

"A Super Saiyan beyond the limit of Super Saiyan?! Super Saiyan can actually surpass itself?! Super Saiyan 3… incredible!"

The three Saiyans' eyes glimmered with golden light. And the golden glow continued to shimmer.

The next instant:

CLASH!

Pfft!

Goku's eyes widened in shock. His aura suddenly collapsed, and his pupils instantly dilated.

"Next!" Hit's calm voice rang out.

Goku had already collapsed to the ground.

There was Silence, a deathly stillness, fell over the arena.

Even someone as strong as Goku had been instantly defeated.

"W-wait!" Amid the stillness, Goku's pained voice rang out as he slowly pushed himself up from the ground.

"I told you… you are no match for me!" Hit's voice remained calm, his eyes narrowing slightly as he looked at Goku rising to his feet.

"It's not over yet!" Goku spoke through the pain, and a crimson godly aura began to surge from his body.

A red divine aura swept outward, spreading a tremendous power that normal beings could barely perceive.

"Wh-what… is that?" Caulifla's eyes widened in shock as she looked at the scene in front of her eyes.

The others reacted similarly.

All of them stared, astonished, at the transformation Goku had taken.

"That bastard! He is finally showing some real power!" Vegeta sneered, his expression filled with disdain as he spoke.

"Aspara, who do you think will win?" Whis' cheerful voice rang out, his eyes turning to Jiang Chen as he asked this question.

"Whis, do you still have any doubts? I honestly cannot imagine Goku losing," Jiang Chen said with a light chuckle.

In the original Hit animation, he appeared extremely powerful, almost evenly matched against Super Saiyan Blue Goku with tenfold Kaiō-ken.

But, as noted before, that was the animation team exaggerating Hit's power. In the manga, Hit was never quite that strong.

Now, observing him in person, Jiang Chen could clearly sense Hit's true strength.

Hit's real power was roughly comparable to the current Super Saiyan God Son Goku. Defeating a full-powered Super Saiyan Blue Goku was virtually impossible for him.

Only Hit from the Tournament of Power arc might have had a chance against Goku, he had gained awakened powers, enough to match full-power Super Saiyan Blue Goku.

But in the present moment, Hit was far from that level.

As for his Time-Skip skill:

Yes, it was impressive.

But that Time-Skip skill was not invincible. It could be countered. One could predict Hit's moves and interrupt them before they are executed, something Goku could do by analyzing Hit's attack patterns.

There were other counters too: Dyspo, who could instantly accelerate before the move succeeded; Jiren, whose energy far exceeded Hit's, rendering Time-Skip ineffective; and Hazz, who could read the opponent's inner thoughts.

Under these circumstances, Hit simply could not stand against Son Goku.

And in fact, that was exactly what happened.

Once Goku ascended into Super Saiyan God Form, Hit was clearly suppressed. Even when he finally exploded and broke through the suppression, as soon as Goku stepped into Super Saiyan Blue Form, Hit was completely caught off guard.
