At that moment, the man in black could no longer remain calm. The majestic aura around him surged violently, trying to break free from this sealed time and space. Yet, even within this annihilated space, there was no fluctuation.
This time and space was entirely sealed. Even shattered time and space remained locked within it. The battered figure of the man in black appeared, his expression growing increasingly grim.
His gaze involuntarily shifted to the distant void. And at that exact moment, a figure slowly emerged from the nothingness, standing atop the majestic river of time that flowed beneath his feet.
"It seems I've underestimated you… Aspara. To think that you've already mastered the Book of Time to such a degree!" The man in black spoke in a deep voice, his sharp gaze fixed on Jiang Chen.
A heavy weight settled in his heart.
This situation was something he had never anticipated.
He had crossed paths with Jiang Chen before. Jiang Chen's talent was undeniably exceptional, but that was all he had thought of him, merely exceptionally talented. Even when Jiang Chen became a Time Patrol member, he hadn't paid him much attention.
After all, even for a Time Patrol officer, locating him across layers upon layers of future timelines wasn't an easy feat. Unless the Supreme Kai of Time, Chronoa herself, descended personally, even the Grand Priest would likely struggle to pinpoint him.
But never had he imagined that this Time Patrol officer, Jiang Chen, had already reached the level of an apprentice Supreme Kai of Time.
What had once been a casual jest, that Jiang Chen might one day become an apprentice Supreme Kai of Time, he had never truly believed.
In every universe, becoming a Kaiōshin was an incredibly arduous journey. One first had to become a Kaiō, and only then could there be a possibility, a slim possibility, of ascending to Kaiōshin. Even then, countless millions, even tens of millions of years, could pass without a single Kaiō ever attaining the rank of Kaiōshin.
All Kaiō and Kaiōshin grow up on a planet called World Core Star, a massive world similar to Kaiō's own planet but on a far larger scale. The Kaiō are born from the enormous Realm Tree that grows on this planet, emerging as fruit and taking form as beings known as Core People.
World Core Star's population is only around eighty. Core People are genderless, with an average lifespan of about 75,000 years. They live leisurely lives, studying various subjects in a city resembling a vast academy. When a Kaiō of any Kaiō Planet passes away, the next Kaiō is chosen from among these Core People.
However, the path to becoming a Kaiōshin is entirely different. Candidates for Kaiōshin are selected only from Core People born of the rare golden fruit (whereas normal Kaiō are born from ordinary fruit). There are also Core People who are born with wicked hearts; such beings typically pledge allegiance to the Demon Kaiō.
In most cases, whether someone will become a Kaiōshin is determined from the very moment of their birth.
And even this is only for the "standard" Kaiōshin. The Supreme Kai of Time is in a league far beyond that.
If golden fruit is required for the birth of a Kaiōshin, then a Supreme Kai of Time can only be born from an even rarer colorless fruit, which grows above the golden ones.
Like Kaiōshin, a Supreme Kai of Time can, in theory, also be chosen from outsiders, but the difficulty is immeasurably greater.
After all, even the greatest gods of the spiritual hierarchy struggle to command the entirety of time and space. To become a Supreme Kai of Time, one must completely master all time and space, an almost paradoxical requirement.
And yet, at this moment, the man in black witnessed something shocking: Jiang Chen, who was clearly just a regular Time Patrol officer, had already achieved mastery over time, space, and the Book of Time to such an astonishing degree.

Countless devastating energy blasts rained down, instantly engulfing the man in black.
In a single moment, his black robe was shredded to pieces.
From within the smoke, a figure slowly emerged.

Jiang Chen's cold voice rang out as he looked at the familiar figure.
Back in that first encounter in the future timeline, Jiang Chen hadn't been entirely sure.
But now, with the man appearing again, and with Tokitoki by his side, there was no doubt left.
Standing before him was none other than Fu, the figure from Dragon Ball Super Hero.
Fu, the creator of the Prison Planet and the mysterious man who came to inform Future Trunks of his abduction to that very prison world. Though he claims to be a friend of Future Trunks, his identity remains shrouded in mystery. His demeanor is unrestrained and unpredictable, and no one truly knows what he's thinking. Possessing exceptional insight, he can distort history itself to gain tremendous power. He once casually blocked Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku (Xeno)'s attack and severed the tail of the golden Great Ape Cumber with a single strike, proving his strength to be terrifyingly high.
According to Jiang Chen's memories from his previous life, this being is a genetically engineered human created from the combined genes of Mira, the Android of the Demon Realm, and Demon Goddess Towa.
His true ambition is to harness the Universe Tree to create a universe of his very own.
