Chapter 365 - Chapter 365: [Dea Saint] Amid Teasanare.

"Not bad at all, Amid! Incredibly reliable."

"Mm-hmm. Although Mr. Fron has used this magic too, maybe it's just my imagination, but there's always this… the spell Mr. Fron uses doesn't have the same… 'flavor' as yours, Amid."

[Dea Saint] Amid Teasanare.

At this moment she finally revealed the true brilliance that her ability had been hiding, a level of support no one couldn't compare to: the city's top-tier healer.

One person could support an entire army; as long as she could act, she could sustain a hundred-man assault party and face victory head-on!

....

With no more worries at the rear, the twin Amazoness sisters charged back in, weapons raised.

The curse that had been their trump card lost its effect; the Evilus' assault had been rendered useless. Facing elites several times their strength, all that remained for them was despair!

"Haha, enjoy the coming slaughter, scum!!!"

Tione brandished two recurved blades and cut into the enemy ranks. Blood spattered over her, but the madness on her face grew only deeper, her darkened persona had fully awakened.

On the main line, besides the magical healing Amid was deploying, there were also the special potions she and Fron had prepared specifically to counter curses.

With both methods applied, the Evilus had no chance left.

"This can't be, she's not a mage, yet she can form a magic circle!??? That's impossible!"

Elfy, a mage of the Loki Clan who had never seen a girl take things this seriously, froze in place in disbelief; even her elf companion gaped.

As a magic race, they understood the boost a magic circle gave a mage: only those who had learned the 'Mage' development could form one. But what on earth was this Battlefield Saint doing!? The young mage's brain went to mush.

Amid herself hadn't taken the 'Mage' development, yet she drew a magic circle at her feet, greatly amplifying the power of her healing magic. Her white robe swayed, hiding the saintly color of the ritual insignia, the sight was mysterious and solemn.

This scene rapidly increased the number of admirers; her beauty was such that if someone said she was a goddess reborn, everyone would believe it.

And then, this Battlefield Saint was already taken.

That "lowlife" was connected to the Sword Princess; thinking that caused their jealousy toward Fron to burn all the hotter, they wouldn't stand for it!

Amid didn't know the complicated looks and inner thoughts of that group of men; she was wholly focused on maintaining the magic and providing support, while purifying the enemies' curses.

On top of that she had to split her attention and direct supporters to treat the wounded and dispense the special potions, the pressure was enormous.

...

Through the eye crystal, Anakitty saw the situation here and, while Fron rotated to rest, reported to him. Seeing the disbelief on Anakitty's little face, Fron smiled, a smile long absent.

"Although it's hard to believe… Tione, Tiona and their squad, among the teams who stormed the Man-made Dungeon, they were the second most fierce in combat. In reality… right now it's only Miss Amid doing the 'work.' Even the two sisters are mostly doing support."

Anakitty's face showed an embarrassed expression.

There was nothing to do; the main enemies they faced weren't monsters but the remnants of the Evilus. These guys were wreaking havoc with 'cursed weapons', against Amid, their ironclad strategy has been entirely wiped out.

Plus, two healers assigned from the Dian Cecht Familia to assist Amid stood like attendants at her sides; they didn't act unnecessarily, only closing their eyes and conserving mind. The whole frontline's healing burden now rested on Amid alone.

One-person division, a super pillar integrating recovery, healing, curse removal…

Fron took the eye crystal from Anakitty, glanced at their side finishing off scattered monsters, then contacted them through the crystal.

"Amid, all that spirit power consumption, are you okay? I know how much your healing magic eats up. We don't know how long this fight will last; plan your mind allocation carefully."

Hearing Fron's concern, Amid's cheeks flushed. Whether from the stress of intense combat or worry for her lover, it was hard to tell.

"No, no problem. Don't worry, I'm not a rookie adventurer. I do have that experience."

"For this expedition I prepared a good supply of mind-restoring potions. Even without resupply I can keep the team going through the equivalent of the dungeon's 27 floors."

She said this, then added: "It's possible we could meet a Floor Boss and then consumption would be faster."

Fron heard that and understood.

"Finn, I know you're listening. Leave the rest to you. I'm about done here and will go deeper."In less than three seconds, the Braver's reminder came through the crystal.

"According to the map, you've now reached the dungeon's middle layer, roughly floors 12–13. You'll meet tougher resistance below. Be careful."

"Understood."

Finn's words matched what Fron expected. Visibly, after the great door ahead rises, there's a huge stone hall; opposite is a broad staircase downward. No need to guess , the depth will drop again.

"The middle layer , that should be where the Evilus's real stronghold is."

Fron narrowed his eyes, gulped a dual-stat recovery potion, and kept himself in top condition for emergencies. Facing a troublemaker like him, the vanguard would surely be showered with big rewards.

"Anakitty, after this is over have everyone recover. Five minutes and we strike!"

"Yes!"

Deep in the Man-made Dungeon, in the space between the floors, if you listen carefully, you can hear the sounds of arguing from within.
