Ted Williams only felt Hope Williams's gaze turn cold, but he was not afraid at all. Instead, the corners of his eyes lifted into a slight smile.
He curled his lips and asked, "Hope, I'm curious, regarding the Williams Clan, were you never even the slightest bit tempted initially?"
With an industry as large as the Williams', he couldn't believe anyone would remain unmoved.
Hope stared at Ted, her voice firm, "Never!"
Looking at Hope's resolute expression, Ted chuckled, "Never? Ha, well, since things have reached this point, you should blame Jade Bell. It was her who wholeheartedly wanted to give the group to you. Otherwise, how would we have ended up here?"
Hope raised an eyebrow and stared at him, "Really? Isn't it you who pushed things to this point?"
