Professor Idrin gathered his things and strode out of the lecture hall, leaving behind a chorus of reactions.
Some students groaned dramatically, slumping over their desks. Others completely ignored the warning, already packing up their things.
A selected few, of course the nerds, leaned forward with gleaming eyes ready to prove themselves.
"Haa..." Liliana yawned, stretching her arms high above her head until her shoulders popped. "That was exhausting."
Serena stood, smoothing out her uniform as she glanced back at the row behind them. Her silver eyes glinted with amusement. "Let's hit the canteen and grab something before it turns into a war zone."
Behind them, Kai and Corrin were still face-down on their desks, completely dead to the world. Snoring softly in an almost harmonious rhythm.
Serena raised an eyebrow. "Should we just... leave them?"
