Chapter 27 - Mr Fitzwilliam.

Hank sat in his room, reminiscing about everything that had happened on Mount Halo in Wolverton.

''Why can't I get that mountain fairy off my mind? I keep seeing her face whenever I close my eyes. I am sure it must be the effects of the drugs doctor Montague gave me.''

Hank Fitzwilliam, was the richest billionaire in the United Kingdom. His company, "The Fitzwilliam group", was not only top in the UK, but it was among the top five companies in the world.

Hank was indeed a force to reckon with. He could sink and make a company disappear in the business world with the snap of his finger. He was not only a powerful business tycoon, but he was also ruthless if anyone crossed him. In the business world, he was regarded as an Omni portent.

Everyone knew he could revive any dead company back to life.

Many businesses feared and respected him. He didn't socialize with people, thus making only a few business executives know him physically. Many knew him by name only. At just twenty-eight years old, he was a renowned name in the business world.

He took over his father's dying company at the age of twenty one. His father had filed for bankruptcy after a deal had gone wrong with their foreign partners.

They had been swindled and lost everything to Versal Corp, their number one rival in the business industry.

Hank, who had just graduated from Oxford University then, stepped in and decided to revive the company. It took him blood, sweat and tears, but he didn't give up on the Fitzwilliam group.

He vowed to take revenge on Versal Corp someday.

In just eight years, he was able to change Fitzwilliam group to be among the top five most successful companies in the world.

When anyone heard the name Fitzwilliam group, they thought of power, money and fame. Hank set up so many subsidiary companies and even set up one for his cousin Daniel and made him the CEO.

Hank was the dream of every woman. He paid no attention to any of the ladies who threw themselves at him. He was six feet four inches tall, and had an appearance that made him stand out in a crowd. His well toned body and arms indicated he was someone who took his fitness seriously. His unfathomable blue eyes contrasted exceptionally with his light toned face. He was truly flawlessly perfect, and he knew that. He was like a demi god.

Two weeks ago, Hank had gone to Greenville, a city next to Wolverton, to launch the opening of a Fitzwilliam group branch. Only himself, his personal assistant Gina and his cousin Daniel, knew his itinerary and what he would be doing in the two days they had to spend in Greenville.

These were the two most loyal people that Hank could trust with his life. After the launch and the cutting of the ribbon, they had an after party. Hank was someone so meticulous in whatever he did. He was cautious of what he ate and what he drank.

Unfortunately, on that night, he was feeling a little tired and overworked from the work he had done all week. His therapy was going out for a run. He put on his jogging pants and a hoodie and called his assistant Gina.

When Gina got to his room, Hank spoke without looking at her. ''Gina, I am going for a quick run. Stay here and take care of everything. I will be back in the next one hour.''

Gina, in her black suit, nodded and said, ''Sure boss. Wouldn't you want to take some of our men with you? If you don't want to go with a crowd, you could take Billy along.'' Billy was second in command after Gina.

Hank just shook his head and said, ''No Gina. I will be fine. Just stay here and take care of the rest.''

Gina bowed and said, ''Be careful boss.''

Gina knew Hank could defend himself out there even if she wasn't around. He was a Kyuudan, which meant a ninth degree black belt holder in taekwondo. This was equivalent to an assistant grand master in Taekwondo.

Gina was a great fighter too, and was ready to defend her boss in any situation. She was good at her job as a personal assistant, as well as a bodyguard. She was the only female who could walk alongside Hank.

Hank had nothing to do with women, and was never interested in any of them. Some even labeled him as gay.

Hank stepped out of the hotel he was lodging in and started running along the sidewalk. He had gone for about twenty minutes and realized he was being followed. Hank was good at reading, people and his environment.

He increased his pace and dashed into the woods that were near the path he was running on. Since it was dark, he couldn't see the faces of the people tailing him. He stood behind a tree and counted about fifteen people surrounding the area he was in. He knew hiding wouldn't solve anything. He had to look for a way to escape, and the only escape route was to fight them.

He took a deep breath and went out and fought all fifteen of them. Those people after him were well-trained fighters too.

His energy was already low after fighting all these men. He was about to head back to the hotel, when he noticed more of these men were still after him, and this time around, they were in their numbers.

He realized he was being tracked through his phone. Hank was smart in almost every aspect. He realized his phone's system had been hacked. ''Dammit.'' He cursed.

He sped dialed Gina. Before she could answer, someone hit the phone off of his hand. All he could do was fight them off. He was really weakened and could not fight anymore.

He took the little chance he had and ran through the forest. Luckily, he was able to lose them. He trekked for a long period and was truly exhausted. It was already the next day in the morning, and he got to the outskirts of Wolverton and tried to find help.

He met an old lady with her husband living in a little bush house. ''Greetings ma'am. Can you both please help me?''

The two old people looked at him as though they didn't understand what he was saying. He went further and said, ''Please do you have a mobile phone that I can borrow and make a call?''

The old man finally spoke. ''Greetings young man. We do have an old phone, but it has not been charged. We hardly use it anyway. In this little town, we are used to letters and post offices.'' They were not really versed with technology.

Hank had a hundred pound bill in his pocket and asked if he could trade it for the phone. The old man nodded with a big smile and gave him the phone. Hank knew he would find a way to get to Gina.

Unfortunately for him, the people who were out to assassinate him tracked him down to Wolverton. He had to lose them again. He knew it would be hard for them to find him in the mountain areas, and that was how he got to Mount Halo.

While climbing, he accidentally slipped on the wet ground and twisted his ankle. He had waited for a day with his injured leg, and no one passed by. Then, that faithful afternoon, he had heard Chelsy singing while walking to the waterfall.

''Thank God I have finally seen someone. When he pulled himself closer to see who it was, he was astonished at how beautiful Chelsy was. ''Oh my goodness. Is this girl a spirit? She is the epitome of beauty. What is she doing here all alone?'' Hank muttered to himself.

This was the first time in a long time that Hank's attention had been caught by a woman. He followed her and watched her from a distance as she swam and how her long lush black hair was glittering in the water.

He had noticed and heard everything she had said.

When he realized she was done and walking back, he quickly hopped back and sat down on a tree trunk.

When she approached him, he saw how lively and energetic Chelsy was. He asked her to help him.

All through, while she was talking to him, he was drawn to her beautiful face, especially the mole on the top of her right lip.

When he noticed Chelsy was so inquisitive and asked so many questions, he decided to tease her a little by playing her gancarnagh fear game. 'This lady is indeed interesting.' He thought to himself.

When she mentioned taking him to her tent, he didn't know why his heart leaped out in joy. When she kissed him back in her tent, he actually blushed for the very first time in his life. He didn't know why he felt emptiness when she ended the kiss they had shared.

When Chelsy had fallen asleep, and he carried her back into her tent, she asked him not to leave her. He didn't know why he felt an ache in his heart. He didn't know why he felt as though he should protect her with everything he had got.

He felt quite disappointed the next day when he realized she had gone without telling him who she was. Who is this girl? And where would I find her? Oh gosh, why am I so invested in her? Hank thought to himself while brushing his fingers through his hair.

Back to the present. Hank was sitting at the dining table in his penthouse having dinner. His grandmother and Daniel walked in. ''Hey Nana.'' Hank greeted his grandmother with a warm smile.

He was actually more handsome when he smiled. His dimples were so beautiful whenever he gave a genuine smile. He was grandma Julia's favorite grandson. She had always loved him the most because he had a very pure heart, kind and cared for everyone.

Hank had inherited his late father's kindness and compassion. After his father filed for bankruptcy, he fell sick due to the shock and died two years after that.

Something else happened, and it changed Hank completely. He became cold and aloof, never appeared at public events and trusted no one but his cousin Daniel, his grandmother Julia and his personal assistant Gina.

''Hanky, my sweet boy.'' Grandma Julia walked up to him and gave him a hug. Hanky has been the pet name grandma Julia called Hank since childhood.

''How are you feeling now dear child? And who are those crazy people who did this to you?'' Grandma Julia asked with so much concern in her eyes.

Hank smiled and said in the softest tone one could ever imagine. ''Nana, don't worry, okay? I am fine. As for those who did this, we will get them soon.''

Hank was a successful business tycoon and this made him have so many competitors and enemies. Grandma sat down and said in a delicate soft voice.

''Hanky, I am already old. I have told you so many times to get married and give me a great-grandchild. But you are so adamant. Even the blind dates I have set up for you, you never show up. Let me ask you this: are you gay? If so, let me know.''

Daniel, who had been quiet all through, spat the water he had been drinking and almost choked. ''Oh please Nana. This man here, can't be gay. He was with a girl in the mountains. They even made out Nana. That is another level of Kama Sutra. Mountain love.'' Daniel spoke as though Hank was not in the room.

Hank looked at Daniel like a prey. His look was the definition of 'if looks can kill.' Daniel sat and behaved as if he hadn't said anything.

''Grandma, why are you so bent on me getting married? I am not the only grandchild. Besides, you have Daniel as well. Why are you so focused on me?''

When grandma Julia heard this, her eyes brightened, and she spoke up. ''Hanky, who is she, and when were you going to introduce her to me?'' She gave a little slap to Hank's head.

''Ouch Nana. That hurts.'' Hank groaned.

''By the way, you are the oldest grandchild, and Daniel already has a girlfriend. But you, you are as single as a single Pringle.'' Grandma Julia spoke with a little smile on her face.

Hank looked at his grandmother and replied. ''Nana, I don't know where to find her. I don't even know her name. All I know is that she called herself the mountain fairy.''

Hank went ahead and explained everything that had happened between himself and Chelsy. When Daniel heard this, he felt a little sad for his cousin. ''Listen H. I will do everything possible I can to help you find her, okay?'' Hank, who had a sullen look on his face, nodded and said, Thanks D."

Will Daniel be able to help his favorite cousin find Chelsy? And what will he do when he realizes that the same woman who had helped him at the mall is the same woman his cousin has been looking for?
