Chapter 26

For days, Rani and her Pokémon would try to recover in the same room. It seems that the pain stop for now. But the biggest question is how to escape from here?
Hearing their backstory did not help at all. The female demons were deaf and could not hear her. Every day, they would come and take care of Rani and her Pokémon.
It seems that the demons won. Rani kept having dreams of Captain Marvel saying the same thing over and over again.
The holy demons would often come to visit. But nothing could change her mind.
"If only, dad would be here." She whispered to Pickachu.
On the day of Sankranti, something else happen. Rani snuck out of her room with her Pokémon in their balls except Pickachu.
She started to walk around the home which was nothing but a maze.
Then she spotted Maya bazaar.
"Going somewhere?" She asked Rani in a cold voice.
"Well yes somewhere to get fresh air." Rani said.
"You cannot go anywhere without someone beside you." Maya bazaar said.
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean to say that you need someone else to let you go anywhere till you accept being a demon."
"Then I am going back." Rani said turning and walking back.
"Do you know how to go back?"
Rani realized that she is caught.
"Come I will show you around." Maya bazaar said.
As both of them walked back quietly, they heard music.
"The Holy demons are celebrating the festival that is all." Maya bazaar said.
Rani wondered what they would be celebrating for.
The holy demons ended the songs when Rani and Maya bazaar walked in. Rani notices that there was no bowing or anything. Just friends chatting and playing together.
"You woke up." Anushya said.
"Then we must really for an answer." Tarun said.
"You know that Seas power could kill you? Then why do you need my power?" Rani asked.
There was a long pause and then laughter.
Maya bazaar hit her head with her hand.
Rani confused looked around.
Then Sanjay spoke. "Well, we need to take out your Seas power right in order you to become a demon. So, there is another way to do that."
"Which is?" Rani asked. She knew that she would not like the answer that would be given.
"To take you to the tube where we turns humans into demon." He smiled.
Chapter 27
"Are you okay now?" Lucario asked Vanya Polishetty.
Vanya suffered from fits 2 weeks back. She is now feeling much better.
"I feel better thanks to you." She said quietly. "Are you sure Rani and Pickachu are still alive?"
"My aura is saying that they are fine."
"Then let's go in."
As Vanya and Lucario peak into the door they have notices a blue light coming inside. They have seen the light before.
It was Rani.
"They must do something with her." Lucario said.
"Then we must hurry." Vanya said.
As they opened the door, there were tons of Zubats screaming with their sonic boom. Lucario mange to destroyed them with his Aura moves.
The two went inside, which they after sometimes there realize that it was a maze.
"It seems the demon presence is strong enough to confused us." Vanya said with tiredness.
After some time, they notices a blue light shining outside the room. There was Pikachu running towards them with Rani's Poké ball case.
"Picka!" It jump in excitement.
"Pickachu. You are okay." Lucario roar.
Pickachu lead them inside the room, where Rani was inside a human size tube. She was naked with something back covering her private parts. She was able to breathe. Next to the tube, was something catching her power. It was absorbing some power of her.
"They are trying to take her power." Lucario said.
Suddenly they heard footsteps.
"Quick hide." Vanya said.
The holy demon in their black robes appear.
"She still not giving up." Shreya said.
"Then we wait." Sanjay said.
"Now Pickachu can you do something?" Lucario whispered to the hidden group who were hiding behind the machine.
After listening to Lucario, slowly climbed on top of the tube.
The holy demons notices it once it came up the tube.
"Now!" Lucario said.
"Pickachu hit a thunderbolt on the tube, such that the tube broke and large amount of Seas power was releases. This cause all the holy demons to faint.
Rani broke free from the tube. She walked out the tube like with more power enter her.
"Thanks, Pickachu." She said with a cold voice. "Now can I get some clothes?"
Vanya pulled out Rani's spare demon slayer dress. Once Rani was ready, the group tried to leave the place.
"They want my power, so they can turn me into a demon?" Rani told the group on their way out.
"Why?" Vanya asked.
"To gets more power." Maya bazaar said from behind.
Chapter 28
The group looked at Maya bazaar who is rage.
"Now, where do you think you are going?" She said with angry in her eyes.
Vanya Polishetty and Lucario tried to attack, but Ranio stopped them.
"Maya. Let me free. Let me go home." Rani said. "To my dad."
"No never." Maya bazaar roar. Her power began to shake. "I cannot let you do that."
"Why do you me?" Rani screamed with tears in her eyes.
"Because you put my sister Swapna to the point where she commit suicide." Maya bazaar cried.
Apparently, Swapna killed herself once she saw Putri's power. It drove Maya bazaar crazy that she vow the only true friend she o torture Putri the same way.
Rani looked at her. She realized that angry have consumed everyone and everything. She realized had are Pickachu, her other Pokémon, Vanya Polishetty, Lucario, Divya Chathori, Pawan Majate, Alekhyaa Ram, and Surya Abhiram. Nobody else cares about her.
Rani gave a shock wave to Maa bazaar using power punch saying she is sorry.
"But I know my path."
It cause a blast a hole in the hut, which cause the group to escape there.
Aalia came a few days later. The holy demons are still unconscious.
"She is powerful." She said, "I want her."
When Rani was in the hospital, Stai Amrandi and Deepimaan Guru came to visit her.
They wanted to transfer her back to the Demon Slayer Cult.
But they were stopped by Manu and Naishadh.
"You almost killed the girl with your lies and now that she is not cured but powerless." Naishadh yelled at Guru.
"Please. What did I do was simply do was tell her the truth. There is nothing else that is a lie here." Guru tried to explain.
"Then why did the holy demons want her?"
"It is simply because they wanted more power than anything else."
"Yeah, and besides, stop caring about her like you did with Vanya. You seem to not care about her and her well-being at all." Stai jumped in.
"What." Kapil looked at her in angry. "For your information you kick my younger sister out after she save the Mumbai people from that demon."
"You seems to be misunderstanding the situation." Lakshay said to Stia. "Vanya saved Rani whereas you did not do anything."
"Yeah right." Jayant said. "You must apologize to both of them."
Manu said, "Child please understand…."
"Shut up." Stai snapped.
"How dare you!" Kartik said.
"Quiet, we are in a hospital." Akshar said.
Nitya and Vanya were quiet the whole time.
Manu then replied. "Please leave."
Guru and Stia left saying they will be back tomorrow.
"We must do something." Vanya said.
"Doctor please discharge the patient." Manu said. "Leave it to us."
Chapter 29
Rani woke up a few days later at Samudra Vayu. There all the group that saved her and her Pokémon are there.
"Rani you are in the Samudra Vayu." Vanya Polishetty said. "It seems that Stia Amrandi and Deeptimaan Guru wanted to take you back, but me and my brother's family refused it. It was a heated argument."
"Why?"
"Rani. You are different. You have two magic spirits inside you. One is the blue light thing called Seas magic and the other is Demon slayer magic. The demons and slayers want your demon slayer magic. But you are powerful when you combined both of the magic together.
So, I told Master Manu about you. He said that your primary magic is the Seas magic. You yet have to reach your full potential in order to gain access and defeat the demons. I think Master Manu knows about Seas magic through his mind. So, he wants to train you, only if you wish so."
"And what do you want?"
"Remember what I said to you when we first met? You said that I remained you as your mother. I then followed you around and realize that you are different. I think I can learn from you a lot of things."
"Where are we?"
"We are in Bengaluru. Maya bazaar on rage destroying everything."
"What?"
She is right. Maya bazaar was ruining the city. Vanya's brother and his friends are trying to control her, but it was no use.
Rani was able to get there with the help of her Pokémon. But then she start to fly. Then she remember what Captain Marvel said to her.
'Diamond of the Seas.'
She immediately got her Seas magic in place and when to Maya bazaar.
"Maya. Stop it right away."
Maya look at the changed Rani.
"What is wrong with you? Why are you like that?" Maya bazaar then chucked. "Are you here to return to me?"
Rani was angry. Angry that everyone was making decision for her that she did not want it. But there were few who want what is best for her. She is confused. Confused to where to go in life. But now that everyone want her to forget something from her past.
She make a fist and then breathe.
"Maya Bazaar, you are exactly the same a Swapna the demon who destroyed my grandmother's city. You are destroying innocent people home and for what? You are being selfish, over mine decision to be myself. But there is one thing I can thank you for."
Maya bazaar looked confused.
Rani continued. "You brought me to this country. If I stayed in my home land who knows what would happen to me. You knew how I was suffering from. The Stigma, the politicians, etc. were cutting my throat. But when you bought me here. And here I learn about myself and the different people around me. That made me realize that how important I am. You know during the operation theater and before that you called me the 'diamond of the seas. That is a big accomplishment for me."
Rani took out Ikea and slash Maya bazaar's throat. "And for that thank you." She finally said.
Maya bazaar started to cry as she passed away. In her final breathe, she saw Swapna, and that when she know that Maya Bazaar is dead.
Chapter 30
Rani and her Pokémon arrived at the center where the people were calling her something else. "DVR."
It seems that Aalia was here giving her that name.
"I like the name. What does it stand for?" She asked someone.
"Demoness Vulture Rani."
"Then so be it." She said with a smile.
"You are smiling." Vanya Polishetty said. She and Lucario arrived there to see the crowd.
A boy screamed. "Look, Vanya the great is here."
Everyone cheered on.
"Vanya the Great?"
"It is a long story." Vanya smiled too.
"I realized that some people understand my emotions well enough, as I understand their too." She rub Pickachu.
"That is great news."
"But that does not mean I have learnt myself yet. I need to unlock my true potential as soon as possible. So, that I can be myself. Earlier, I wanted to go back where I came from. But now, I want to stay. Stay to defeat the demons for good."
Vanya, Lucario, Rani and her Pokémon arrived to Samudra Vayu.
Master Manu looked at her.
"So, Vanya told you everything?" He asked.
"Yes." Rani said. "And I have a request for you."
There was a pause.
"I wanted to learn my Seas magic. But since I cannot leave this demon land and the library at Madhu City was destroyed, there is nowhere else to learn the magic. So, I want you to teach me this." Rani asked them.
"Sure." Master Manu Bahuguna said. "But first meet the team."
"I already did." Rani said.
"No, you new team." Master Manu said. "And your others master – Master Naishadh Bahuguna."
Lakshya Bahuguna said, "But where will be training?"
Nitya Mandapati said, "We can go to the secret base in Isa. What do you say big brother?"
Kartik Mandapati agree.
Kapil Polishetty said to Rani, "Do not forgot your previous training with others. It will help you."
Jayant Jampala and Akshar Moodbidri both nodded.
"But you are forgetting something." Lucario said. "I am ready to teach you and someday, I will find out about my master in the Isa region."
The group laugh.
"And also, you can call me by my real name – Putri Pari Nivenda." Rani said.
As now Rani, now DVR is ready for a new training session. New challenge wait as the journey move on into the Pokémon eras (part 3 – Diamond and Pearl rulers).
