Chapter 1 - Chp 1: The beginning

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows over the landscape, an unidentified entity loomed silently within the shade of a tree—a figure steeped in mystery, its form indistinct yet commanding. It gazed down at the small town nestled in the valley, merely two kilometers away. The quaint houses and winding streets appeared as a delicate tapestry woven against the backdrop of fading light.

As the vibrant hues of orange and purple painted the sky, the entity's voice resonated like distant thunder, deep and reverberating. imbued with a wisdom that transcended time. "I have watched you," it murmured to the town below, "as you scurry about, unaware of the shadows that linger just beyond your perception.."

As the last rays of sunlight melted into the earth, the entity continued, its tone both inviting and foreboding. "What do you carry? What secrets rest upon your lips?, whispered only in the dark , I wait, suspended between realms to embrace you fully."

The air crackled with anticipation, thickening with an otherworldly energy as the sun finally surrendered to the twilight. The entity stirred, ready to listen—to draw forth the truths hidden within the hearts of those who dwelled beneath its watchful gaze.

"You know... I never believed that a being called God ever existed. But then, there were moments that shook my very foundation—the miracle of falling pregnant after months of desperate prayers. The eerie serendipity of stumbling upon that one perfect person who seemed to be crafted just for a specific person that is you. Yin meeting yang... as if the universe conspired in shadowy whispers to bring two people together. The weight of these events looms over me, leaving me questioning everything I thought I knew about fate and divinity"

Its words carrying an unsettling depth, as if they echo through time and space, challenging the very essence of disbelief. The miracles it's encountered are like dark omens, revealing the threads of destiny woven into the fabric of your pitiful lives. There's a certain power in the juxtaposition of doubt and undeniable truth—a haunting reminder that all you may not be as alone in this universe as you once thought. What other mysteries lie in wait, lurking just beyond the veil of your understanding?

"Black and white... HAHAHA you know what there is no such bullsh*t. There won't be any darkness without light and vice-versa. God sending down his miracle and *ding* your pregnant.. nah there is a problem among 1 of the couple.. that yin and yang.. seems like sh*t to me"

"It all seems like a twisted joke, doesn't it? Picture this: you were standing there, in that dimly lit cafe, the air thick with unspoken thoughts and hesitant glances. It was the perfect storm of fate or so everyone wants to believe... but let's strip away the illusion."

"You were at the right place and right time, yes, but it was purely coincidental. No grand design orchestrated by forces beyond our understanding. No divine hand intervening to magically align your paths. Just two lost souls circling the same tiny oasis in a vast desert, unaware of the storm brewing around them."

"Then came the moment—the heartbeat of time slowed as you brushed against each other, a fleeting touch that felt electric. Your heart raced, pounding like a war drum echoing through a silent chamber. But I ask you, was it truly love at first sight? Or something more sinister lurking beneath the surface?"

"Let me remind you—there was **no** angelic choir heralding your meeting. No mystical glow surrounding you. Just the ding of clinking cups and muffled laughter, as the world continued spinning on its chaotic axis. You made the move. You took that single, irreversible step that set everything in motion. In that instant, possibility transformed into inevitability. But at what cost?"

As you locked eyes, something dark whispered in the back of your mind—a reminder that every choice has consequences. Was it fate that brought you together, or something far darker? A predatory force waiting to ensnare the unwitting? Love can be a beautiful facade, but scratch just below the surface, and you might find something terrifying lurking there.

So tell me again, you're unraveling a dark secret that wraps around your heart like cold tendrils. What did you feel? What drove you to breach that chasm of uncertainty? Was it desperation? Curiosity? Or was it something else entirely—a compulsion that left you powerless in its grip?

"so tell me .. very slowly...you can even emphasize every single word without any particular meaning behind them I am listening..

Tell me .. do you believe in God? Do you believe in divinity?...do you believe in fate?"

The entity slowly gazed towards the creaturs of the night emerging from their dark holes hidden in plain sight.

While hidden under the shadow of a tree it slowly moved its eyes towards the town 2 km away from it. A town surrounded by trees as far as the eye could see , from north to south and west to east, four roads that met at the town center.

The shadows stretched long across the empty streets as the clock struck 19:36pm. The air was thick with an unsettling silence, broken only by the distant rustle of leaves in the chilling wind.

"The is no entity called God..only the abyss...pure void staring at you"

"It is time you faced what's coming," the figure said, voice low and filled with foreboding. "Wake up... don't blink... don't look away. You might just live to tell the tale."

A low chuckle escaped its lips, growing louder and more manic. "Hahaha... Hahaha... HAHAHAHAHA!" The sound echoed through the night, a jarring contrast to the stillness surrounding it.

As the laughter faded, the figure slowly began to meld back into the shadow, its the night as if it had. Only its eyes red orbs that gleamed with a frenzied intensity, surveying the town below.

In that moment, the weight of its gaze felt oppressive, as if it were assessing the very souls of those who lived there. And then, just like that, it vanished completely, leaving behind an unsettling quiet.

"It has begun," a soft yet resonant voice whispered through the air ominously, sending chills down the spines of those few still awake. The the town, and an invisible tension settled over everything, heralding the darkness that was yet to come.

In one of the houses closer to the forest within the kitchen the 5 room house.

The kitchen was warm and inviting, the soft glow of the overhead light illuminating the cozy space. The comforting aroma of food lingered in the air as the mother, wearing a simple brown dress that flowed gracefully around her, moved with purpose. Her long, dark hair was pulled back in a loose bun, a few strands escaping to accentuating her gentle features. She had an effortless beauty, the sort that seemed to belong in a storybook, her brown eyes sparkling with warmth and love.

"Mommy... Mommy..." A small voice piped up, breaking the quiet rhythm of the evening. A little girl, no more than six, emerged from the hallway, her cheeks flushed with excitement. She wore pink pajamas adorned with cartoon characters, her tousled hair sticking up playfully as she approached her mother.

"Have you seen my teddy?" she asked, her wide eyes searching her mother's face for reassurance.

The mother paused her cutting, glancing down at her daughter, a smile spreading across her lips. "Oh sweetheart, I thought Teddy was right here with you," she replied softly, setting the knife down and leaning against the counter.

The little girl gasped, a hand resting on her hip as she processed this information. "But I can't sleep without him!" she exclaimed, her voice a mix of urgency and innocence.

"Let search for him together," the mother said, her voice soothing and steady, as she wiped her hands on a dish towel. "Did you check your room?"

"Yes. I checked in the closet as well and under the bed" replied the little girl

Together, they ventured into the softly lit hallway, a picture of motherly love and childhood adventure, ready to hunt high and low for the beloved teddy bear before bedtime took its hold.

Not knowing of the creatures within the darkness.
