In a moment, she was launched back; she rolled a large distance before she rose to her feet and propelled herself back into the fray. Her body was like a streak of light as she struck the Supreme Chaos.
Its attacks were useless against her; however, they still could knock her back. Her gaze went to the goddess, who was hugging her knees in fear as she stared at the scene with wide eyes.
She did not wish to fight this thing so close to someone who would die in one good strike. She opened her parasol and jumped back, making enough distance that the elemental would not accidentally strike the goddess Octavia assumed was Natura.
A streak of darkness hit her barrier once again; however, instead of harmlessly bouncing off it hit her parasol and pulled it out of her hand.
"Cretin, thy insolence knows no bounds!" Octavia frowned as she materialized a greatbow of pure water. She jumped far into the air and stared down at the Supreme Chaos.
She drew a string and released a humongous arrow of water. The rainfall seemed to stop for a moment before the pillar of water that was her arrow descended upon the elemental. It dwarfed it in size as it caused the land to shake.
However, it was not enough; instead, the mists, while diminished, reformed. It stared at her with hatred in its eyes. However, it was not an emotion she wished such a filthy creature to feel.
"Chaos Elemental. Thy art cowardly and spineless, Thy deserveth not mercy or to feel wrath. Thou destiny is to fear!" In a moment, Octavia was washed by the golden light. Instead of the tall human woman, the space was now occupied by a being of 3 heads and large wings.
"THY.LIFE.EXITINGUISHED! LET. YOUR. SIN. BE. WASHED. AWAY." Octavia's voice boomed through the realm of Chaos. Instead of attempting to fight, the elemental stopped. Its mists churned wildly. It finally felt fear. It merely thought it was facing a powerful woman.
Yet now it faced one of the Cherubim. It faced The Blue. It faced Octavia. The very moment her shapeshifted form dissipated, the Rivers of Eden became more powerful, the storm raged, and the rain burned the elemental even worse.
Although it did not talk, Octavia could sense its panic. It knew how badly it was outmatched. The Cherub raised its hands in the air. [Great Flood]. In her mind, she formed a square that would be flooded.
In an instant, the air was replaced with water, the ground disappeared, and was replaced by the abyssal depths of the holy water. The elemental found itself burning away; it tried to resist, yet it failed.
The [Great Flood] would not fill the area with mere water; this liquid was instead so saturated with holy energy that it would eradicate anything impure. After all, it was the great flood that washed away the sins of old humanity.
And it was the water that cleansed the sins of those who were baptized. Something disgusting like the Chaos Elemental would never stand a chance. And soon it disappeared, not even dust remained of the Supreme Chaos.
The halo formed around her as the rivers of Eden subsided, and the reality formed by her dominion returned to its former white wasteland. She was enveloped by the light once again. And soon the massive Cherub was replaced by the dark skinned woman.
A pale blue parasol appeared in her hand as she stepped next to the lake that her abilities created. She turned to the girl who was encased in the flower of water; however, the flower had bloomed a while ago.
Instead, the small goddess stood above what Octavia could recognize as a wilted lily. It was gray and devoid of all color. The girl's hands emitted a golden glow, yet the flower refused to answer.
She heard the girl's soft sobs as she begged it to live. Octavia almost had a tear roll down her face, yet she struggled to care about a mere flower. However, seeing an innocent-looking girl crying filled her heart with an ache.
Octavia sighed as she walked towards the girl. Natura ignored her; her full attention was on the dead lily. She stepped behind the goddess and placed a hand on her shoulder. The girl jumped back.
"Thou art Natura, I presume."
The girl nodded, her face carried the expression of panic and fear. Octavia did not mind her being scared; instead, she turned to the flower. "Is this flower dear to you?"
She nodded, "Very much... and thank you for saving me... but what's the point? This flower was all that was left of my nature."
Octavia smiled. "What's the point of living? For me, it is to defy the fate that would take it away from you. Is that not what you, as goddess of Nature, should represent?" She moved her finger to the wilted lily.
"But..."
"No buts, that flower is not dead and neither are you." Octavia's hand moved to nature and gripped her hand gently.
Natura sniffled before she turned her head. "Who are you? You destroyed that elemental so easily..."
"I am Octavia, the Cherub. I am one serving Cedric and leading the legions of Silver." As if on cue, the rows of silver descended over the horizon. The supreme chaos was dead, and so only cleanup remained.
"Fortuna..."
"Yes..." Octavia smiled as she placed her hand above the flower.
"Will thou abandon your title of the goddess if it means thou wilt have thy nature restored?"
Natura blinked in confusion, "I don't care about the damn title! I just want my nature back! I am a goddess of nothing anyway! All I ever cared about were my plants and animals... and yet it was all taken away from me."
"Good answer. [Divine Water]" Octavia's hand glowed as a small droplet of water escaped her finger. The droplet hit the wilted flower, and then it exploded into a blinding ball of light. Soon the light faded, and instead of the dead lily, Natura saw a patch of greenest grass, and in the middle was her flower.
It was vibrant orange and beautiful, as it never struggled for survival. "H...HOW?!"
