Seven Years Later:

"Uncle Savio, Father asked me to deliver this to you," Alina said warmly, setting a wooden box down on the living room table.

Savio looked up from his seat, a hint of surprise in his eyes. "Oh, my dear, you didn't need to trouble yourself. I could have easily sent someone to fetch it."

Alina smiled gently. "I insisted, Uncle. I told Father not to bother you. Besides," she added playfully, "I'm here to take your daughter out. I hope you won't mind if we spend a little time at the market together?"

"Why do you want only my sister to accompany you?" a voice called from the hallway, laced with mild indignation. It was Savio's son, Allerick, stepping into the room with a furrowed brow. "Let me come along as well."
