Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: New Beginnings

Lorelei looked at the pile of Dominions on her bedsheets. Each one was genuine, and she liked how they felt each time she touched them. They were smooth freshly minted silver coins with a digital imprint all along their edges. The microchips embedded inside guaranteed they were hers; the magical wards that came with them were just added insurance. The stamp of the TannReign glittered in the lamplight; a triple set of crowns with a broad set of wings and a sword anchored at the center. The halo etched at the top of the sigil was pure gold, not gilded or simply layered but solid all the way through. A tiny diamond was embedded in the center of the halo, something that seemed too beautiful to be used on a coin.

A dozen sterling silver Dominions was more than enough to pay the entrance fee and tuition costs for the Grand University. It was actually too much.

Lorelei sighed; all her savings over the past few years was now meaningless, she had the funds right here and now to make the payment in full. That did leave an opportunity; the savings she did have could be used to buy new clothes, and even some new gear. With the amount of money she now had available to her, she could even afford to register her slave to accompany her as a fellow student.

My slave… Lorelei groaned. Was that even the right thing to do? Lorelei looked over to the woman. She had been sitting quietly in her corner, not even bothering to find a chair or stool. "I guess I need to buy you some clothes, huh?"

The slave immediately focused on her, as if by finally being addressed by her master was all that she needed to show some spirit. She neither seemed happy nor sad, it was hard to discern her mood but Lorelei felt like the woman was eager to please. It was as if she existed solely to live by her commands. Without a command to obey, she was devoid of purpose.

"Do you have a name?" Lorelei knew it was pointless to ask but felt like asking the question anyway.

The woman looked at her with a semi-blank stare. The quiet in the small, cramped hovel was deafening. Lorelei could hear the sound of rain starting to hit her window, and the electronic buzz coming from the light fixture.

"Fine, let me come up with something. I suppose your previous master didn't give you one." Lorelei thought about it for a moment. Elves typically either had long and illustrious names with far too many syllables, or very simple single syllable ones. Apparently, it wasn't a status thing, more of a personal preference from the parents. The woman's plain face certainly didn't hint at any noble heritage either. Eventually, after a couple of minutes, Lorelei came up with something. "You're an elf, I'll call you Dove. How do you like that?"

"Dove?" The woman croaked for the first time. She repeated the word, then straightened her posture. "I am Dove. What would master like Dove to do?"

"Nothing," Lorelei answered.

"Nothing?" The woman seemed forlorn, depressed even.

"Nothing right now, why don't you get some rest."

"But master… Are you sure?" The woman, Dove, spread her legs and tugged at her loin cloth. Her nether lips were moist, and her clitoris was bulging. She looked down at it and with the touch of her fingers, her pearl slowly started to grow. It stiffened, burgeoned, and eventually sprouted into a rather large rod of throbbing muscle. The masculine appendage wasn't the same as a mans penis, it was far more sensitive but lacked the same girth and soft mushroomed shape tip that was to be expected. It stood at just short of six inches in length and already Lorelei could see a thin trial of pre-seminal fluids beginning to muster. Her cum wasn't the same as a man's either, lacking true testicles, in its place a magical set of organs had been installed below her ovaries that mimicked the semen production process. The clear whitish fluids those false testicles produced was enough to satisfy Lorelei's cravings as a succubi, but it paled in comparison to the real thing, and also, unlike true semen, there was no risk of pregnancy.

Apparently, Dove was pent up. Having just had the procedure mere hours ago, it was likely that her new organs were in overdrive. Her legs wouldn't stop shaking, now that her erect clitoris was fully exposed. Even her arms were jittering. It was almost like her body was experiencing a surge of libido for the first time.

"You want me to relieve you." Lorelei noticed a flicker of want in Dove's eyes. "Then you better stroll over here."

For the first time there was genuine energy, and maybe even a hint of excitement, behind the woman's movements. Her fingers wouldn't stop rubbing the phallus between her legs. She was panting with berated breath as she approached.

Lorelei was worried that Yniseli would go overboard and make a crude set of male genitalia for her. But that albino bitch had surprised her. This elegant meat stick could manifest and then return to its original state like normal. Meaning, Dove could pass as one hundred percent female with all the normal parts on a daily basis until Lorelei felt like using her.

Using her…

Lorelei didn't like to think of it like she was using her, but that is what she was doing. Even if, technically, she had a right to, she never wanted to own a slave. It would take a couple of weeks before Dove's slave brands could even be taken away, and even then, Dove was so far down the road of mental brainwashing that without a good master, or a mentor at least, she would end up in a far worse place than she was now.

"Dove," Lorelei started, before reaching out. "Let me know when you're about to cum."

"Yes master."

Shit… Lorelei bit her inner lip. I could get used to this… What does that make of me?

Less Than Two Weeks Later

"You look like shit," Craig's voice was loud enough to be heard from across the room, even when he was speaking quietly.

Theo just groaned, glaring at the empty shot glass sitting on his desk. He looked over toward the window. A new collection of dandelions filled the small glass on the windowsill, and they were already starting to wilt.

"I need a drink," he sighed.

"Not a chance. Last time we splurged, you drank the whole thing in two days! You hardly left any for me." Craig still sounded upset. "And plus, I don't want to talk to that crazy elf again."

"So you finally found a girl you're afraid to talk to." Theo smirked. "Good to know your limits."

Theo did kinda feel bad about drinking all the booze. In his defense, he was pretty depressed. For some reason, Sophia had been hard to reach for more. Theo wasn't eager to approach her again, but it was starting to get weird. She usually smuggled in new stuff every week.

"I heard their opening a bar on campus soon, maybe then you can pay me back," Craig said, hoping to lift Theo's spirits.

It did, and Theo was suddenly more attentive. "Finally, something good to look forward to."

So far, the one thing he liked about campus was the size of their new dorm room. They had just been re-assigned, a reward perhaps for being in the upper grade percentile. It was in the same dormitory building but on a higher floor, and the room was built for four with only the two of them occupying it. They liked to hang out in the central living room which came with a smaller kitchen and a decently sized bathroom. A single bedroom was adjacent to the living area, where two bunk beds were installed. They currently just threw all their spare junk on the empty beds.

A large paned window gave them a miraculous view of the campus grounds, they were able to see the very gatehouse and the road leading to it. Right now, the view outside was better than what was on TV, a ridiculous Lamia soap opera that Craig couldn't get enough of.

Looking out the window, Theo noticed the gatehouse doors were open, letting in a large crowd. The crowd was bustling in, guided by several campus counselors who were ushering them to follow.

"Looks like new freshmen," Craig saw what he was looking at.

"Looks like it," Theo watched as the gatehouse started to close. For some reason, watching those giant gates close made him feel like a prisoner locked in a city within a city. The entire world beyond the curtain wall of Voxsturm was little more than a distant dream.

"Ever wonder what's outside?" Theo asked, his voice distant as if speaking to no one in particular.

"You ok over there buddy?" Craig looked at him with concern.

"Nothing…"

"I mean… You're looking outside right now. Did a vampire drain you dry or something?" It was a silly joke that whenever a vampire drank too much, it left their donors in a stupor.

"Speaking of vampires," Theo grumbled. "There's this one from class that wouldn't stop bothering me today."

Craig hit the pause button. "Was she hot?" Just the way he said it with his thunderous voice made

Theo smirk.

Theo just shrugged.

"What was her name?" Craig asked.

"Don't remember." Theo kept eying the crowd; they were mostly human, with a general mix of elves. He saw a couple of lamia who were the most distinguishable. He thought he saw someone with a small pair of horns as well. He leaned forward to get a better look, but just as he could make out a whip lash tail, someone knocked on their door.

He turned to look around but didn't feel like getting up.

"Lazy bum, I'll check on it." Craig mocked him while getting up from his couch.

Theo looked back out the window, hoping to spot the succubus in the group again, but couldn't find her.
