"Can't keep watching, young man, don't be too greedy."
The old man refused Tang Rao's request.
"Whatever, it's all mine anyway, no need to watch anymore."
Tang Rao placed the last chicken leg in his own bowl, the old man watched enviously, but Tang Rao chewed it without any sympathy, ignoring the old man's eager gaze.
"Old man, where are you heading next? Want me to give you a lift?"
Tang Rao thought the old man seemed pitiful, having such skills but no achievements at his age, it was truly sad to think about.
The old man initially thought Tang Rao would take him in, imagined he'd still have chicken legs to eat, but then was asked where he was going next.
He clearly foresaw Tang Rao would take him in, why isn't it going as planned?
After all these years, his foresight could actually fail.
"What's a good place for an old man to go? The world is my home, I'll just go wherever."
The old man almost died of sorrow.
