Kevin Clark laughed heartily, as Nelson had predicted, after threats, followed by inducements: "I'm just kidding. If we could openly kill Yang Fan, the US Army would have done it already, it wouldn't be up to you." Kevin Clark was indeed just testing Nelson: "Mr. Nelson, it's true that we need your help to get rid of Yang Fan. I can double the military supplies agreed upon with your father last time, with the price unchanged. Mr. Nelson, that's our sincerity. I believe sincerity is mutual; it's the foundation of our cooperation, don't you think?"
Nelson understood these words well; this was the inducement followed by forcing him to declare his stance: "No problem, I still say this, as long as it's within my capability, I'll definitely cooperate."
Nelson agreed immediately. For him, stabilizing the United States was the top priority; the rest he would think about slowly.
