"Where are you? Why aren't you answering my calls?" A disgruntled voice came from the other end.
"I've found a high-paying job through a friend's connection. I've passed the interview and now I'm about to head to the job site with my new boss," Erin replied.
"What kind of job keeps you out all night? Are you at the seaside villa in San Monita? You definitely know about the cost of living there, don't you? Are you depending on your talent to find work? It must be a one-off gig!" The other person remarked with a mix of sarcasm.
"Fxxk you! You spying on me? You don't trust me?" Erin was annoyed, "I don't recall agreeing to get back with you! Did you go to my place to corner me?"
